Everything is here, it is the quintessential Smash game at this point. There's so many characters, maps, and content that it is really a celebration of the entire Smash franchise, and truthfully Nintendo as a whole. The reaction I had seeing this game come out is one of my favorite reaction moments, especially seeing Banjo announced I screamed like a banshee. They did everything right in this game. Unfortunately the single player is kind of lame and not really worth playing. Kirby being the only survivor in World of Light and seeing that opening cutscene is a peak moment and I still get chills watching it. Too bad that was the only good cutscene in the game and there was nothing more like it, because it was monumental. The DLC Is fantastic and while I don't really appreciate most of the characters added in, I think they're all fantastic and worthy additions. I'm a Waluigi believer for life.

The lack of any fun singleplayer content really made this feel like the lesser game in my opinion, but it looks great and it's still the game I got all of the DLC characters on because it's just the easier version to play co-op on with friends. The fighting is great, and it's a Smash game that is casual which I appreciate a lot. This game is invalidated by Ultimate today though, but it was fun when it came out and such an experience to be a part of it's release.

I like this game better than the Wii U version, it's portable smash and I don't care about the method of control being on the 3DS because I don't like Gamecube controllers. It's fun, there's a ton of singleplayer content that is actually fun and tests your skill, and the roster of characters is great alongside the fighting. I guess you could make the point that the graphics are kind of lame, but people still play Melee so I don't think it should matter much. I remember the demo being absolutely cracked too, good times watching this game come out especially seeing Etika's reactions :(.

As a game itself, it's great but man it's impossible to play with my friends because they are so insanely good at it and do all the weird meta techs that it feels impossible to play unless you tryhard. I like playing Game & Watch, and whenever I see Fox I feel like my goal is to just try and knock a stock off of him. If I were playing against people of my skill level I'd probably rate it 5 stars since the fighting aspect is insanely fun, but it's an unbalanced mess not meant for casual players at this point.

As somebody who couldn't care less about competitive smash, this was the game I most had fun with in the franchise and would still rather play against most other games in the series. It doesn't take itself seriously and is genuinely a party fighting game that anyone could enjoy. Fun cast of characters second only to Ultimate and I remember fond memories playing this game at my friend's house where I'd play Meta Knight since he was my favorite Kirby character on the roster. How could I not mention Subspace either, one of the most fun singleplayer modes with an insane amount of references that anyone who is a Nintendo fan will absolutely adore.

Boring tech demo not worth more than $5, I got it because I was having a friend over to play the Switch around launch time and I only had BOTW, this game lasted an hour before we just took turns playing BOTW. Not much more you can say about it, it's just kind of there and extremely lazy.

They fixed every single gripe I had with the original game and fixed it in Deluxe, added in characters, made an actually fun battle mode, and made a few QoL adjustments that make this game timeless. Would I have liked Mario Kart 9 more? Absolutely. But this makes up for it. It gets a 5 stars now because of the new DLC which adds in so many fun courses that makes online even more replayable and with the announcement of new characters being added in too, the game will genuinely hold up for a couple more years while we wait for 9. Without the DLC this game would be a 4.5 though, my only gripe being the kart balancing is kind of meh and there is a meta, but that didn't hold me back from using a god awful kart and grinding 10k points again in this game.

Including the DLC, this game is 4 stars, without it, it's about 3. This game has no battle mode which is a massive deal breaker for me and a lot of the roster has been completely shaken up with a lot of characters I frankly do not care about. It's a good game, but the gravity gimmick is not impactful or worth being marketed as a gimmick at all. The racing controls are great though, and this game's online is chefs kiss beautiful. It is what saves this game from being boring after the first week. On 8 I grinded to 10k points online, and would have continued if not for the announcement of Deluxe. Fun game, removes a lot of things I do care about, but added a few things that make up for it. Play Deluxe instead.

Mario Kart 7 is a great follow-up to DS in a lot of ways, the racing is really well implemented, the maps are great, the characters are fun, and kart customization makes a genuine impact on the game and how you play it which I personally enjoy. The glider sections add a lot to the stages and I think a lot of people take for granted what this game added to the future of the franchise as a whole. Great game, online was OK, the battlemode was kind of just there, and the stages especially Rainbow Road and the other 3 part courses were insanely fun.

Easily the best console Mario Kart game hands down. The motion controls are actually smooth and work extremely well and this entire game is a fun experience you could have played with anyone. I played this game often on family game nights and have fond memories of tricking my mom and brother that the crabs were speed boosts on the beach level. Battle mode is also at it's peak for consoles here and is a great time with great maps to pick and choose from. The roster of characters is amazing, and the entire sound track is consistently great.

This game could have been an easy 5 stars if I didn't absolutely hate how this game controls, it feels so awful compared to other games in the series. The gimmick is fun and really well executed, and it has a really good roster of great characters with amazing synergy. I understand why it's a fan favorite, but honestly it is really held back by it's controls for me so I can't enjoy it nearly as much as I would otherwise.

This is Super Mario Kart on the go and you'll either love it or hate it depending on your thoughts of the controls. I personally love it, there's a lot of charm in this game and I'm a sucker for GBA graphics like these. There's some pretty cool unlockables for this game and there's some actual replayability other than beating your own highscore over and over again. It's pretty impossible to rate the co-op, but I'm sure in it's time it was good. I like this game, it's consistent.

This game is the quintessential Mario Kart game, it controls well, has great co-op, and has some of the most iconic courses in the series. I love the graphics for this game they give off a cool feeling that you can't really describe. Watching speedrunning for this game still be relevant too is really interesting and I think that it's a pretty timeless game with a lot of cool information behind it.

This game is the first in the Mario Kart series and despite being clunky, old, and nothing like the rest of the games, it is still fantastic and fun if it's your type of game. There's not much to do but I love trying to beat your best times in time trial mode. The controls start off feeling weird, but mastering them feels great since there's a lot of difference between playing a character like Luigi vs a character like Bowser unlike in most of the modern games where that doesn't matter. Is it worth going out of your way to play? No, not really. But it's still fun and I really enjoy it and go back to it often.

The best way to play the Injustice games, the story is fantastic and the fighting is smooth not really changing much from the original game, but it feels a lot better graphically and as a whole it makes the entire game flow better. Story is just as good and there's a lot of fun characters to try and play. Worth your time still if you're interested in it, it's on Xbox Gamepass right now though I originally played it on the Xbox One.
