She bible on my thump until I binding of Isaac: Rebirth

Fun and then you'll sink your time realizing that the weapon and armor upgrades are BS and it only gets worse. Atleast the combat animations are satisfying!

They really made a rogulike for minion type gamers like me

Really good gameplay loop, its basically vampire hunters except you upgrade the minions around you, play around them, and you can also edit the map to help you out a little. There's a really good base idea here and it could be pushed a lot further, i know the dev is only one guy but moving this game from 2D to 3D somehow could be really good.

They really weren't kidding when they said they had 1,183,203,309 different types of guns in the trailer. This is the corny and edgy type of shit that perfectly aligns with 2010 behavior, but like it's the GOOD type of edgy and corny from 2010. Combine this with cool ass characters with satisfying gunplay and RPG elements where it's actually fun to upgrade your gear, and you understand why everyone with an xbox 360 in 2014 had this game.

They actually made the game better gameplay wise. Gunplay is smoother, abilities can combo seamlessly into whatever type of gameplay you're trying to go for, and animations feel a lot more satisfying.

It just sucks that the second game's story was so fucking good that it makes this entire game's story seem pointless LOL. They just needed to make a better story and they could've had the money banger they wanted. Characters that are making me go "MAN I DON'T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT WHO YOU ARE OR WHAT'S GOING ON" and cutscenes and lore that have me phone banging. tale as old as time type shit

This is what smash feels like when you move from pro controller to 1 joycon

i know its a classic but unless you're playing with 3 other friends the game doesn't feel very good. it feels like you're slapping enemies with a stick and the combos that you can do get stale after like the 2 stages.

i kept waiting for it to get good and I was like "okay maybe the next area will be cooler it has cats right?" for 3 hours and then i got tired and turned it off and dont feel like turning it back on. it has gameplay

I am not a fan of the metroidvania shooter types, but honestly this game has so much charm and comfiness that it made me stay until the end. Gameplay is nothing crazy, but I get why this game sort of has a cult following, I can see it being a comfort game sort of thing.

its niche platformer fun but this game is just B hopping if it felt worse

its cool but the gameplay really just doesnt do it for me. it feels like a chore more than fun

The combat part of this game is okay and pretty basic for what it's worth. Everything else is amazing though. Cult customization feels great, and wanting to grow your cult feeds into the gameplay loop so much. I wish you could do more with doctrines or have cult members join you somehow during combat sessions, but for what it's worth Cult of the Lamb tried something new in the "build your city" genre, and it's working well.

didnt want to install 80 gb for fortnite but its just so ass so it made me install it

oh I get it its called Dark Souls 3 because there's 3 of the dark souls games right?

It has a really cool art style that I dig and I want to like this game more, but it's one of those games where you really do have to micromanage EVERYTHING and if you fuck up it will bite you in the ass for years to come and tbh i think im okay w/o those games
