Hollow Knight has earned it's spot in the indie game hall of fame. Satisfying and lightning-quick combat surrounded by the unique and mystifying charm of Hallownest feels great. Everything feels do-able, and while there's some cases of "can I not progress because Im not far enough or am I dumb" and some BS enemies, those are only minor gripes among an amazing game.

I have no idea how Kenshi came to be. I look at the lore and characters and gameplay and I'm like "which twisted fucks are responsible for this" and then I realize how everything in the game, as brutal as it is, is super seamless. It takes a while to learn how to do stuff, but once you get your squad and base up and running the game starts ramping up quick. This game is definitely not made for everyone but for some reason it scratches an itch like no other game can.

It's honestly a really fun RPG, it's just the MMO part sucks. Raids are going to suck if you're with full randos, and having an endgame heavily reliant on RNG is not doing you any favors. A lot of cool abilities and customization, but it just feels like if you're starting now it's impossible to catch up. And you'd be right.

Was my first intro to the monster hunter series, as met EVERY high goddamn expectation I had for it. I literally thought "man it would be cool as fuck to see them duke it out in environments" and then I learned not every MH is peak like this one. Damn they really outdid themselves. This is what a good grinding game should feel like.
Amassing your army and taking over cities feels good as fuck. It just sucks there's not a lot you can do politcally like CK3, even tho that's a whole different ass game. It just kinda feels like maim and pillage is your only option. Which I guess isn't that bad, since maiming and pillaging in this game is fun.
