Absolutely love this game. Great song selection, fun gameplay, and some of the best art to grace a rhythm game. It's just a shame the game's services are over.

Really fun gameplay and has the best playing version of Phantasia with it, what's not to love here?

In my opinion, it's the best Digimon game released thus far. They refined an already great game (Re:Digitize) and added more to it, including a big postgame scenario. My only recommendation is to wait until Romsstar finishes up the fan translation, because some parts are hard to figure out without being able to read, even if you played the original game (hi Whamon).

One of the best Digimon games. One of the best versions of the "Digimon World" mechanics, and it showed they knew how to make these games. However, not too much content, and it's on the shorter side if you don't like hearing that.

Such a crawl of a game. You have the Data Squad cast going through mostly generic dungeons with boring puzzles whilst getting bombarded with a sickeningly high amount of random encounters, where you have the weirdest menu of any game for that. The load times were long, especially on the PS2 I played which only LENGTHENED them, and the game just goes on and on. The icing on the cake for me was when I reached the 2nd to last dungeon and my save on my memory card got corrupted. I may never beat this game. I was gonna rate it 1 star "because it has Chaosmon and Chaosmon is cool" but I can't even meme it. This game hurts me.

This has so many improvements over Digimon World Dusk. No more species exp. More digimon that you can reasonably get before postgame (my endgame team consists of ChaosDukemon, Omegamon, Rosemon Burst Mode, etc.), and a relatively streamlined experience... until the end. The end basically requires you to grind the (defunct) online or REALLY grind other systems to access it, and that's why I never beat it. I wish it didn't because this could've been the best Digimon game of all time to me. It's so sad, dude.

Never play this soulless MMO. My mom played the Korean version, and she thankfully got IP blocked (like many players) before it became truly predatory like the english version already was by then.

This exists. Play any other Kart racer please.

I kinda forget this exists. It's solid, but I wish I was more interested to beat it. Totally deserves a PC port. Also never play the Vita version it's so laughably bad that it makes me sad.

Good re-telling of the story with great fanservice (side stories throughout the game, anyone who isn't Tai/Taichi or Matt/Yamato finally gets their Mega digimon, and you can use Omnimon/Omegamon in New Game + which is pretty raw. Sadly the game is a generic dungeon crawler with tanky bosses. I played up to the Dark Masters arc but never beat it. I'd like to one day just to finish what I started, but it'll be tough.

Imagine having an idea for a game and then ruining the sequel by using the Digimon Frontier cast

Boring port of a mediocre wonderswan game (no 1.5 port? Come on Bandai Namco). Not much to say

I love this game so much. I've beaten it 3-4 times. That being said, this has many flaws. To start, some areas (notably Loop Swamp) are annoying to navigate, and you basically need to be aware to use the touchscreen to look around the screen at all times. Second, there's obnoxiously high encounter rates throughout the game. Good for grinding (and sorta helps to alleviate some points later), but bad for revisits for various quests. Third, making digimon stronger amounts to de-digivolving and only re-digivolving when they were the level they were when you first de-digivolved, otherwise they're gonna be weaker for a bit. Lastly, the various Digivolution requirements, notably "species EXP". There are 8 types of digimon in this game: Holy, Dark, Beast, Dragon, Insect/Plant, Bird, Aquan, and Machine. Most Digivolutions (if all) require revelant species EXP (like MetalGreymon requiring both Dragon and Machine). How do you get this? By grinding. A lot. And if you want something like Alphamon in Dusk, good luck because a lot of Holy digimon only appear in Dawn, while getting a VenomMyotismon in Dawn sucks because of the lack of Dark monsters in there. These wouldn't be too apparent in the base game, but when you're grinding for the ridiculous post-game challenges of the 2 boss rushes the game has to offer, these glaring issues are so damn apparent. I wish I could rate it higher or even recommend it, but it's such a slog of a video game at parts. Still love the game and the Lunamon line with all my heart.

Neat simple game, but just play other video games than the PS1 digimon games,

This game is such a slog. If you wonder why Pokemon allows disabling animations, here's an example of why. btw you love long dungeon crawlers in your turn-based JRPGs? No???? Well too bad. The only cool thing is getting a MetalGreymon early and wrecking the next few dungeons with them. Flamedramon isn't even colored right.
