ok so i never really cared for rhythm games that much like... at all... until i played this game. this game actually taught me how to count beats and find my rhythm. now i play rhythm games and i enjoy them quite a bit! this game is also very good and would recommend it if you want to get better at rhythm games. i love the accessibility feature of the game giving you a metronome thing if you're failing on the practice so you can better learn the timings, that's so helpful and nice. then the game removes that in the postgame and oh look what part of the game i coincidentally stop playing at, how funny.

the visuals are like... kinda cute i guess? but the game is like... okay. it's kinda fun i guess but makes me wish i was playing vib ribbon, and so many songs are locked behind a 35$ DLC that I do not want to buy. Also this game is incredibly loud jesus christ don't blast my ears out.

unfortunately very short! i really really enjoy my time with this one and i still come back and do the gold course if i wanna play a rhythm game for a bit, but i wish there were more in game songs to play. i know the whole point is the custom generated songs but idk the generation algorithm doesn't feel too interesting compared to an actual hand made level and also it's kinda annoying to do it on emulator

the caves are awesome but the actual story is okay

the gameplay is absolutely on point like omg the way the booster 2.0 feels, finding the perfect niche for each weapon, ougghhhhh

when fwomp stood up and said "don't worry Cardboard, we're just a couple Wobbledogs™ in this big wide world" i shed a tear.

honestly i've been replaying this game constantly in my free time and the more i replay it the more i adore it. this game is stupid and dumb and nowhere near "perfect" but it's this beautiful blend of being a genuinely really cool RPG and a stupid broken mess. if you have a friend that's well familiar with this game and would be willing to guide you through it, it's 100% worth your time for the funny ragdolls alone.

went into this saying "wow this gameplay looks cool" then was left genuinely speechless for hours by the game's ending. absolutely amazing and worth your time, but be okay with the fact that it jumps into some VERY DEEPLY UNCOMFORTABLE territory with the story.

it's a fine game, i think it's trying to say some deep things about overcoming difficulty in video games or something but i didn't really get it tbh. towards the end i started putting on Angry Video Game Nerd videos and that made me feel better about myself actually. Not bad and i'd still recommend playing it, but didn't make me rethink the medium of video games or whatever.

A truly fulfilling and artistically beautiful experience of a video game. Never before or since has a video game say such profound things as this game has for me. I don't mean to hyperbolize, but this game was genuinely life changing for me both times i played it through to completion. This game is a true masterpiece of story telling.
