There is a flawless game buried under some weird choices.

Pros:
- Groose.
- The characters and story are reminiscent of those in an actual legend or fable which I can't say about any other Zelda game. This is by far the best story in a Zelda game and one of my favorite stories in a game period.
- The dungeons. All of them are at least great — but the Ancient Cistern and Sandship are up there with the Forest Temple from N64 for the best dungeons in the series.
- The scale — I don't want to hear anyone say that Twilight Princess is more epic than this game because it really isn't.
- The soundtrack (don't need to elaborate on this).
- Great final boss.

Cons:
- The motion controls sometimes straight up do not function (doing a stab is impossible).
- The last third has insane padding. The backtracking sometimes feels really satisfying and other times just stupid.

Overall, not even close to the worst Zelda game. Not even the worst 3D Zelda game!

Give me a version without the terrible backtracking and this is the best RPG of all time.

Case 3 is one of the worst dips in qualities I have ever seen for a high quality series. Case 4 is the best in the series (so far at least).

First game I ever played there's no bias with this rating at all.

(Trilogy Edition)

Everything about the Blue Badger was terrible.

TLDR: This game is so good it makes you want to play the Zelda games you missed.

Great presentation and art style, the music literally changed my life, and a perfection of the BOTW style.

The plot sucks because of the lack of structure but there's enough of a plot here to make the ending sequence work.

Even if there wasn't, it's still a top 3 Zelda ending if not first.
BANGER.

Unbelievably late but it's a masterpiece.
