vaudevillevito reviewed Code Vein

This review contains spoilers

Story is pretty boring and cutscenes are very slow and uninteresting, so much that I started skipping cutscenes. But gameplay makes up for it. It's not that Code Vein has crazy gamepaly, but it's enough to make up for the story and keep you on the game for like idk 20-25 hours.

But FUCK THAT DUO BOSS BRO FR

vaudevillevito reviewed Mega Man Zero 3
A lot more story focused and gameplay has more interesting elements to it. Best one so far.

Also I just realized that I've been playing with "casual story mode" this whole time so I guess that's why the game is easy. I always wondered "Why people say that these games are hard". Well, mystery solved. I'm not that big of a fan of difficulty anyway but I'll play normal on my second playthrough of these games.

vaudevillevito reviewed Postal 2
Fun at first but it gets repetitive and boring. But you can finish it without getting bored if you like open the game to relax like 30 minutes - 1 hour a day so it's good enough. Obviously has way better gameplay than Postal 1 but I personally like the first Postal's vibes more, I wish they did more Postal games with the Postal 1 vibes.

Well the story certainly and clearly improved. Gameplay has improved too, even though I couldn't get any ex-skills because I couldn't beat any boss with an A rating. They fixed the health problem that I talked about in my review of the first game, you probably can't just rush into enemies. Also after the first game I feel a little closer to Zero too so that helped (I haven't played X series yet so it's my first time seeing Zero).

And oh please oh god use dash when jumping at a certain mission.

The problem with the gameplay is that you have a health bar, but the game doesn't really allow you to care about your health. You can easily blindfold yourself and rush to the enemy and would still probably end up alive. Also you don't have to attack anyone neither. The game lacks the feeling of punishment(?) When you can just pass through enemies straight to the boss I feel like (this is a personal thing) you really just wanna do that you know? Besides that, boss designs are cool, but you can really just rush to them and press the attack button, except for like maybe 2 bosses you don't really have to have any quote on quote "strategy" (like switching weapons for that boss). So that's a con for me. Since your health doesn't really decrease, you can just blindly rush and hit any boss till they die.

It's not necessarily a "story focused" game but it's decent for a gameboy platform game. My mistake was that this is my first Mega Man game, the ending probably would've felt better if I played at least the X series. Or I would've at least known the main character.

Overall a fun experience, except for the bomb defusing part and spesifically that area, would recommend.
