This game is so incredibly strange and so insanely silly that even when the gameplay was getting a bit repetitive or certain side quests didn’t interest me, the world surrounding these people and their idiosyncrasies would. It’s not exactly mind blowing but it’s doing more than I anticipated.

Leon is such a great protagonist. Claire was cool but her story feels very messy compared to Leon’s.

Easily the best game in the franchise. The story, the gameplay, the visuals, the characters, all of it is better than ever. There are some slower segments of gameplay here and there but when the game takes its time it’s for good reason. An engaging plot with stakes and history laying on top of it. A strong conclusion to a video game legend’s story.
