It's still an amazing game except the part where you have to climb out of hell. I couldn't finish the game because of that part. I prefer the style of the original GOW games over what they’re doing with the new ones. Not a popular opinion I know.

One of the best beat em ups capcom has ever made. It was known as Mustapha in my country. Almost every kid played it back then.

It's like the other beat 'em ups of capcom. But it feels a little bit repetitive because there isn't much variation in action and levelling up doesn't make any difference.

Man I really miss these type of simple story games with a bit of action, adventure and mystery. Nowadays most of the games try to be hardcore RPG or looter shooter.

The developers removed some content among art and animations that deemed questionable. This includes some nazi-like insignas, panty shots, a sovet announcer and the redesign of an oversexualized female combatant.

While for many this could look harmless or necessary, the issue is that the players paid for said content when the game was released (and funded). Even more, the devs made the oversexualized characters their main selling point for the game and everyone that decided to chip in and buy did it because they liked that aspect.

Now, ten years after its release, the developing team decided to remove and cover some of the promised, advertised and sold content, and the players are complaining because it's simply not the game they paid for. Not anymore.

Great artwork and there are so many scenes for awesome screenshots.

But it's nearly impossible for someone to complete this game without the help of steam guides or youtube walkthroughs.

It's okay if you get this game in a bundle but buying this game would be an idiotic move... trust me.

Unlike the first one, this one feels like a drag.

I enjoyed the campaign a lot. Particularly that librarian was really scary. However, I think the game is too dark for my monitor. Also, the hallucination part of the last act was boring.

It was dead from the very beginning. I still regret buying this.

It's a free to play mini game then why won't you try it. I can assure you that you won't feel that you have wasted your time playing this.

I used to play this game when I was a kid (my pc spec was 256 mb ram, celeron processor, 40 gb HDD and the operating system was windows xp). So, you can see this game is very old as a result you might face crashes while running it on windows 8,8.1 or 10 . That's why you need set this game to run as an administritive and compitable mode in windows xp ( service pack 2 or 3).

About the game
Simple old-school arcade top down shooter with RPG elements and it's really fun to play. Easy missions : just shoot aliens, turn back electricity to enlighten the floor and activate the doors, collect money and ammos by breaking boxes, collect dynamytes to blow up alien dens, buy guns as well as armor, ammos or skill points like other rpg game.No one can judge this game before playing it.

Cons:
- Need to set to run in compitable mode.
- Highest resolution is 1024x768 ( but in my eyes it's not much of a problem).
- No steam overlay support ( Can't take screenshots because of that ☹️).
- No steam achievements + No trading cards.

It's one of the best games of my childhood.

It's a very interesting short game with 5-6 endings where a Jewish Rabbi becomes a detective and tries helping out solving his former fellows' murder. Choices really matter in this game.

Another cool game in the Max Payne franchise and this might be the last one. This one felt more like GTA V but I also like GTA V so I liked this. The only issue I have with this game is that cutscene filter. Seriously who in their right mind would ruin good graphics in a game with a filter like that?

I became a big fan of Max Payne after playing this one.
This game was easier and shorter than Max Payne 1 but loved it.
