For some reason, I could play it perfectly fine for hours on end on my old shitty laptop...however using a true gaming PC it runs out of memory even with several troubleshooting methods used...even playing caravan it's glitchy and takes several minutes to do one move :-(

However, despite that, the gameplay itself is great as always. I love the story, I love the characters, I love just running around and making my own events up (and then pausing my game to quickly doodle out the idea I had). Even with having to reset the game every few hours, it still keeps me drawn in, and I'm sure at some point I'll fix it (if you couldn't tell I'm new to having a gaming PC) to the point I can install and make mods for it :-)

Well, I finally played it and it blew all my expectations out of the water. The storytelling is amazing, the dialogue is to die for, however the new management that stole the game from it's creators made it insufferable to interact with outside of a sensory chamber (ignoring every single update to the game on the official page and social media).

I'm unsure on how much I can say on such a platform, but if you want to play this game...don't buy it. Do with what I said what you will.

As for actual things to be said about the game:
It's heavy, it's emotionally draining, I love everything about it but I can only play it in short bursts when my mental health is doing fine or else I'd lose my mind at the complexities and what is trying to be said. It is not a just some silly game, it's a serious political commentary with silly moments.

After years of hiatus, I would get notified of updates to the game again and again, and would lose my mind more and more at how poorly the developers treat real life cultures in which they take inspiration from.

I'm glad my laptop couldn't even handle it at the lowest resolution and size, so I'd not be punched in the gut over the casual racism in the series and fandom as a fan, and instead would watch on like it's a car accident I cannot turn away from. My heart goes out to those who were fans.
