In a frantic battle to the checkered flag, Sonic and friends speed around tracks set in medieval castle ramparts, lush rainforests and bustling cities, all taken from the visually rich and varied universes of Sonic and SEGA. Fan favorites such as Dr. Eggman, Tails, AiAi, Amigo and many more will join Sonic in their custom built vehicles, revving their engines and jostling to stay ahead of the pack. Each character will speed around the track in cars, planes, motorbikes, and in Aiai’s case – a banana mobile! Secret short cuts, swift handling and avoiding strategically placed obstacles are certainly the best way to get to the top of the podium.

Why is bro driving a car lol

Sonic & sega All-stars racing is as good as it gets for a sonic racing game. It has a great selection of characters and tracks from different sega games. It's also nice to see banjo and kazzoie included in this version. This game is very fun and I would highly recommend it to someone who wants to play a fun racing game

While a stark contrast to the style and originality of the Sonic Riders series, All Stars Racing is a much more traditional kart racing experience. However despite that, I think this is one of the best in the series, Kart control is super smooth, the tracks are incredibly varied and dynamic and the item balance is solid.

All Stars doesn’t overwhelm players with mechanics, it’s simple to pick up but there’s a high skill ceiling to reach for when playing. I also love how each character has their own “All Star” move as a way of getting back into the race if you fall behind. This can range from Sonic and Shadow going Super, to Big getting a giant Froggy to pull him along.

It’s not just Sonic though, there’s a ton of Sega icons here and it makes the roster nice and diverse.

There’s single player missions to pass the time, and these can lead to unlocking new characters or music for the races. Most music is just taken from other places, and the voice recordings are literally just ripped from other games, but it’s fine, and the game looks great.

This is a fantastic racing game. It may not be very original compared to riders, but I think it’s way more accessible and all round just fun.

Yes, I got this game mainly for him. What a shock (third and last game we'll ever see him as a pilot).
Playing this in multi-player (just with 2. I can't imagine with 4) is awful, single-player is ok.

As a game to rival Mario kart it's not that bad. Mastering it felt kinda fun and the characters while obscure are really cool. The items are just Mario kart items clones but still I would loved this game as a kid on the Wii. You can also abuse the system by resetting a race In the middle of a GP when your losing so that's nice
