Linkle that one mf who brings the switch to a funeral.

A bad port of a good game. The fan service is pretty cool though, since it wouldn't make sense to have these characters ever cross over in a main game.

wayyyyy to repetitive and levels go for way too long

The levels go for too long and on the original 3DS my hands kind of hurted while playing.
The story is ok, the graphics are nice for a 3DS release.
Will try to find the HD Definitive Edition for Switch though

Not that bad but not that good either.

The gameplay improvements are positive across the board and I LOVE some of the new characters (particularly Linkle and Marin), though you definitely feel the trade-off of a smaller screen and less powerful system

Zelda Marathon #10

I bought this on a whim in New York, not originally planning to play it in this marathon, and I'm happy I did. I liked the new content. I didn't bother replaying the base game, the cart i bought already beat it and i remembered it quite well, I only played half of it. I fully beat Cia's Tale, Linkle's Tale, and The Windwaker Arc. They were fun tho the Windwaker arc was stupid as fuck. I also didn't bother unlocking any extras besides Toon Link and Ruto. I'll go back and get the rest one day. Overall the game is good. It's more warriors!

a strange version of a bizarre game that I can't be bothered to play for long

counting this as my experience with the wiiu ver too but great fun sank many hours here

That it works so well is a damning indictment on the Dynasty Warriors franchise ; it simply is a matter of swapping the color palette.

warriors games are sort of brainless, but the variety and core gameplay is very fun. that, the adventure modes, and the mish mash of zelda content was very entertaining here. A great game. Frankly, I'm nervous for the follow up as I'm not confident it will have as much variation that made this work, blending all zeldas except BOTW to some degree.

Why the fuck did they put this on the 3DS.

Look, it's a fan service game. Finally being able to play as some of the most popular characters in the franchise and just beating the shit out of a horde of enemies is fun enough for a while, but it gets repetitive and even though the move sets of the characters are varied, the level design and challenges get really tedious.

That said, I really had fun with this for short bursts of time. It's just kinda cool to just lump all the Zelda games together and being able to play any of them. It's a good game with a lot of love for the franchise, just not a deep one that can captivate me enough to keep on playing.

yeah idk there was a woman with bulging tits

The 3DS used to have such a tight grip on the handheld market that you could just release ports of games that run like a 15fps slideshow and Nintendo was crazy enough to make it have exclusive content that wasn't on the home console version.

En la old 3ds corria como a 5 FPS con 2 enemigos en pantalla

Best thing about this game was the variety it offered. The story was mostly nonsensical which was to be expected for this sort of game, but the gameplay was solid and was fun.

Clearing my Backlog Part 3: Hyrule Warriors Legends

Honestly a pretty fun time waster. Got this back in 2021 and just now decided to play it. I'm a sucker for Warriors combat so I knew I was gonna have fun with this either way. I didn't really care for the story I was just focused on the gameplay which isn't bad at all. Surprised that the 3DS doesn't really chug that much when slashing through a bunch of enemies at once, at least it doesn't for me. Overall a pretty fun time, nothing crazy but a good time waster.

The fact there was more to do in this one in comparison to the first one makes it better in my eyes. I loved the fact you could play as more than one character and place them at different areas of the map for when you needed them. It still wasn't perfect how you couldn't make them do it automatically and you had to run yourself. I still am very annoyed how expansive the adventure mode is when it doesn't affect the main story since you complete it after its finished.

i played the shit out of this game

How the hell did they get this running on a 3DS

game went at 3 fps. i still enjoyed it
