One of the best online experiences you can have, couple that with the insane modding community and you have almost endless replay value. Really an fps masterpiece.

la historia de como goro majima, alucard, kos-mos y black frost se enfrentaron al apocalipsis zombi

Love this game to death! The pc version is better since it has all the mods but I first played this back on the 360 and still had a blast with this game!

This is game 24/71 of my backlog.
Multiple people told me not to bother playing l4d1, because l4d2 is Just It but better. After playing l4d2, i can confidently say that they're absolutely right lmao. I still think l4d1 has it's merit, and is Just a completely different game to l4d2, but like DAMN this game is such an improvement, there's WAY more replayability (although, i really don't Care too much for the mutations), more modes, more special infected. It's Just l4d, but more. The gibbing is incredible as well, If shooting in the First game Felt amazing, in this game it's Wonderful.

I've gotta say, replaying the First game's maps i thought It was gonna be a drag, but Nah, pretty fun still.

Weirdly enough though, even with How Fun i thought the games were, i'm here thinking "damn, i don't wanna play that again", which feels weird considering these are more or less meant to be replayable games. Can't do much about that though. This game is great, have Fun with it.

same as the original, it has endless replayability. moving from the xbox to pc also adds the Steam Workshop creations and other mods to further enhance the game, i love it

Bro NEVER trust Wikwi or his friend Macklemore on ANYTHING, their reviews absolutely sucked. I tried this shit out and I came out covered with shit, it was a god damn bombfest of turds dropping on me and oh. my. god. This shit was NOT fun, maybe a bit with some friends or something but na, after I think about it, probably my friends carried the fuck outta this game. Go be the witch irl or something and cry in a corner, on GOD i will clap your ass (not sexually) if you try to gas this game up. Once again (Talking to you, Wikwi and Macklemore), play a real game like Genshin Impact, the GOAT of all GOATS.

Os mods desse jogo são incríveis, ver o tank correndo na sua direção com skin do Sion e com o áudio de tsundere deixando um rastro de arco-íris é impagável.

One of the best LAN-party games! Sober, drunk, or on another plane entirely, this game always hits the right spot.

Relatively exciting co-op shooting game but all the sections where the horde just busts out like 85 zombies running at extrem hihg speed only ever stressed me out. It felt like some kind of gaming sugar rush that I wanted to stop.

Peak co-op zombies gaming here.

Left 4 dead 2 was arguably just as amazing as the first game if not better. It changed a lot of things while also delivering the same experience in a new way. There's no doubt LFD2 has left a huge impact on the game industry or just pop culture with its influence of game design, enemy design and countless memes that went around the internet at the time.

Basically, LFD2 is a first-person co-op shooter game set in a zombie apocalypse, It has horror, humor and action segments. The campaign mode can be played co-op or single player with AI and involves you traveling from safe room to safe room in cities, woods, suburbs and more. The infected run at full speed and swarm you fast so it's best to be on your toes constantly and watch out for different infected types. The different zombie types are all unique and actually fun to traverse and deal with. The Tank, hunter, smoker bloater and witch all return as special infected but this time we see a few new enemies like the charger, the spitter, the jockey and the wandering witch which are basically new versions of the tank, boomer, hunter and witch but act a bit differently. The different levels of the game all act like the continuation of the same story of survivors getting from point A to point B with them having their own unique movie poster and fun end credits that calls to your gamer tags as the actors playing the 4 main characters (just like LFD1). The characters Ellis, Nick, Coach and Rochelle are all unique and fun to get to know as you play and have very different personalities than the characters in 1. The voice acting for the cast is pretty well done all around, along with an incredibly memorable sound design I still remember to this day. There is a story to follow here that continues from LFD1s story and leads into "the Passing" which connects to the DLC from 1 "the sacrifice". Like 1, A lot of the replay ability comes from the co-op and Verses modes where you face other players. Now we have modes like survival, scavenge, verses survival and more. This game also changed the way the game flow works. I’d say camping is significantly harder to do in this game. There are a bunch more weapons like the chain saw or ninja sword and a bunch of new guns like the grenade launcher and different rife and machine gun variants, honestly too much to talk about here. They also added the entire first game as DLC so you don’t really need to play the first one at all because everything is here for you. With all the added weapons and enemies this dlc feels like a soft remake or remaster of 1 because of the changes but all and all LFD1 or 2 are fantastic games. Something about classic more simple games feel better and more fun looking back but I know if you didn't grow up with these they probably come off as old as hell but to me they still hold up.

10/10

Often imitated, never surpassed, L4D2 remains one of the best examples of a singular concept of play polished to nigh-perfection. I spent many hours running through these campaigns with friends back in my high school days, and it's telling that I can still rustle up 3 people to install it even today. It's a shame that the franchise has remained dormant for so long, but let's hope that Back 4 Blood can capture some of the magic.

The game: 3 stars
The game when you leave your friends to die at the hands of a tank that's been subjected to so many mods the game becomes more funny than horrifying: 5 stars

Really fun. Personally couldn't make it past half way since it's an older game without settings to widen fov. I get motion sick pretty easily with FPS games. :/

L4D2 is the companion and sequel to L4D1 and features a lot of new weapons, infected, and maps galore.

The game is essentially an upgraded version of L4D1 only with new survivors and maps. The game is more so an addition to L4D1 as L4D2 was able to be upgraded into featuring maps and the characters from L4D2 for both Xbox 360 and for steam. Meaning that definitively it's better to get L4D2 than to buy vanilla L4D1 seperately.

The game features 4 new survivors who are up against the Green Flu Infected, these being:

- Nick (a 35 year old casino player wearing what he claims to be an expensive suit. Tends to whine a lot, and cracks jokes at the other survivors expense.)

- Ellis (a young 23 year old Hilly Billy who loves to talk about his past and about his friend Keith, which tends to annoy his fellow survivors. Has a huge and mutual crush on L4D1's Zoey based on the Passing DLC map)

- Rochelle (a news producer who was sent to Savannah to report on the Green Flu virus only to get stuck in the middle of the infection. She acts as the level headed one of the group, bringing everyone together, and is very sister like. She gets a long well with Ellis and Coach, while tends to argue with Nick)

- Coach (his name is what he did before the outbreak, that being a Football Highschool Coach, though his real name is unknown. He can be very smart, but hot headed.)

The Green Flu infection has also brought a new arsenal to the infected as L4D2 features more than just your regular horde of Zombies, but also features new Uncommon and 3 New special infected.

Starting with the Uncommon infected, most of these infected appear in specific maps of the game, and will not appear in others, but their addition is always nice, and each have a unique thing that set them apart from their standard infected counterparts. These being:

- CEDA Infected - Infected Hazmat Suit workers who are immune to flames and drop Boomer Biles

- Riot Gear Infected - Infect Riot Gear Police who are immune to bullets and melee damage from the front, to kill these dudes you have to shoot them or attack them in the back.

-Worker Infected - These infected are construction workers who are immune to the sound of pipebombs.

- Clown Infected - These infected are just dressed like clowns, and when you kill them with a melee weapon a horn sound is played.

- Mudmen - These infected only appear in "Swamp Fever" and are these infected who use the darkness of the swamp to camouflage themselves. They run all fours and when they hit you mud covers your screen.

- The Fallen Survivor - Originally only appearing in "The Passing" they now can appear all throughout L4D2, these infected are essentially survivors who got infected and carry 4 of these items: Pipe Bomb, Molotov, First Aid Kid, or Pills. The Fallen Survivor will run if startled, though Boomer Biles will cause it to act like any other infected as it will automatically run towards it like the horde.

-Jimmy Gibbs Jr- Jimmy Gibbs Jr is a Racecar driver seen on posters of Dead Center, and can only be found in L4D2 as an infected after 15 Days of Playing Dead Center, though with console commands on PC, you can spawn him in. Jimmy Gibbs Jr acts like any other infected however when he hits your screen, your screen will be covered in oil, similar to the Mudmen.

There are also 3 new special infected added to the line up of Hunters, Smokers, Boomers, Tanks, and Witches. These being:

- Charger - An infected Farmer with overalls who will charge into you at fast speeds. Once a charger is charging towards a certain direction, it will be unable to turn. When a charger charges, it will let out a yell alerting the player, however if you already heard it, it most likely is close enough to charging into you. The charger will charge and after running a certain distance or hitting a wall with the trapped survivor, it will begin to smack the survivor against the ground with it's big arm, until another survivor saves their teammate, or the charger kills the player.)

- Spitter - A support type of infected who appears to look like a old hilly billy woman due to the pigtails and outfit, or sometimes a prostitute. The Spitter has the ability to shoot stomach acid from long distances, sort of as a mix of the ability of the boomer vomiting, and the Smokers distance of shot. The Spitter is a pathetic special infected on it's own, but works well with the Hunter or Charger who has the survivor pinned on the ground, as the Spitter can spit on the ground where the Hunter or Charger has the Survivor pinned down against.)

- Jockey - Honestly you wouldn't be messed up in thinking this is just a dude on crack who happens to be in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. The Jockey will jump on the survivor and essentially ride the survivor like a horse, directing and forcing the survivor it has captured to be separated from the group by leading them to hordes or other special infected. You will know the Jockey is near because it lets out this maniacal crazy laugh.

The game features new weapons in terms of guns and melee weapons to use. The game also features in terms of the non-dlc maps, and non L4D1 maps. A total of 7 maps, 1 of them being a connection to L4D1 and another being a fanmap turned into an official map for how good it was:

1. Dead Center
2. The Passing - (Taking Place after Dead Center for the L4D2 Survivors, and taking place after "The Sacrifice" for the L4D1 Survivors. The L4D2 Survivors come across 3 of the 4 L4D1 Survivors after a major sacrifice by one of the L4D1 Survivors.)

3. Dark Carnival - (Carnival Full of Infected, and Infected Clowns)

4. Swamp Fever - (Farm and Swamp Area full of Infected, and where Mudmen appear)

5. Hard Rain

6. The Parish (Final Map in terms of the Valve story of L4D2 starting with Dead Center and ending in The Perish)

7. Cold Stream - Fan Community Map

The game thanks to be updated and being able to be combined with L4D1 on PC, you essentially have both L4D1 and L4D2 in one game, allowing for features from L4D2 to be apart of L4D1, like the special infected and some weapons.

The game is the definitive way to play both L4D1 and L4D2. The game has a great pc modding community, making the experience great for anyone playing pc, not so much for console. Though thanks to backwards compatibility, you can play L4D2 on Xbox One and Series Consoles.

The game is a great to always go back to, and on PC it always gets new mods for guns, characters, and maps that will suffice, especially since the longevity of it's community is alive and well due to how bad BACK4BLOOD was.

We'll probably never get a L4D3 game, but the community keeps L4D2 alive and strong. I recommend this game to anyone who wants a fun, multiplayer zombie game.

The only thing to unseat Halo 3 from being my friend and I's daily driver. We were eching our way through each level on Extreme mode by glitching into windows or climbing up into trees, with our thumb on the Director AI's pulse.

Choach is the best character in video game history

Fun, arcadey co-op game that feels fresh when put up against typical zombie games. The campiness and characters are actually hilarious.

this truly was a cheeseburger apocalypse

Creo que es un juego que jamás envejece, tanto por los mods como por la jugabilidad infinitamente infinita
juegazo, para el año en el que salió, sin contar los cambios y actualizaciones, una joya.

Friends and mods, just go for it

Went to bed one day, woke up and the next thing I knew was that the entire steam workshop for this thing was flooded with boobs, I have no idea what kind of black ass magic, hoo-doo voo-doo those modding motherfuckers have cast down onto my beloved coach (And others). But I thank them.

awesome game & atmosphere and even more awesome mods

Left 4 Dead 2 equals 6 I think.
...wait

6/2=.....
HALF LIFE 3 CONFIRMED!?

Um jogo frenético e gostosinho para se jogar com os amigos, sempre gostei bastante de coisas envolvendo zumbi e esse jogo não é diferente, um bom jogo coop, que se tu fechar um squad ficar melhor ainda.

0/10 unless u play with friends

i really don't get it how Valve can make a game with such incredible character writing, the characters are so incredibly cool and their personalities are so fun. Nick is the best tho, and honestly if you play the game with mods it gets like 100 times better trust me bro
