I think I prefer Villages Mercenaries to this one atm. My monkey brain loved scrounging for the orbs that give you a upgrade, and the stages of the levels. It was kind of annoying trying to find enemies if you somehow missed them, but more pumped me up more. However, I do enjoy that I don't have to worry about finding powerups/enemies and can just enjoy straight up horde action in this one. The characters are pretty fun but none of them get even close to Chris in 8 for me. All those DLC characters were so neat.

Addicting high-score based arcadey style actionfest. It loses some points for losing 2 characters from the original, replacing them with only 1 new one, and missing 1 map and replacing it with nothing.

A neat little addition but making us wait two weeks for it and having cut content is a bit ridiculous. Absolutely feels easier compared to OG4s Mercs and definitely not a fan of things like the hard limit of enemies. Still it's a fast and frantic mode that shows just how outstanding RE4makes gunplay is with tons of fun moments despite a shorter runtime. Can't wait for Ada and Wesker (also the harder mode).

7/10

It could definitely use more content, but it's Mercenaries mode using the RE4 remake's excellent combat system as a base. Also Krauser just gets a devil trigger.

I played very little, but it's fun.

Pretty good score-based arcade-y fun. Love the individual themes, movesets, and gear for each character.

I might just put more hours into mercenaries than playing the main campaign a third time. This mode is too addicting it’s like crack. Trying again and again to try and get that perfect S++ Rank.

muito divertido além de ser de graça

Easier than og mercenaries but still a ton of fun, if they keep all the characters for re5 mercenaries if they do a remake it might be the best re thing to exist

I didn't really like this mode in the original version of the game, but I had a ton of fun with it here!

Since the moment-to-moment combat was my favorite thing in the remake, this is a perfect slice of pie for me. It feels great to take down enemies, no matter who you're playing as. And since the game is generally pretty nice with its scoring system, I can get a good grade even if I suck! Yay!

Still though, even if this mode allows for a ton of replayabillity with great gameplay, it isn't exactly something everyone will want to play. If you're not obsessive about getting high scores, you'll likely only play through the levels with whatever characters you unlock before you hit a wall and just stop, like I did.

Overall, this is a super fun mode and, in my opinion, way better than the original; but it isn't something I'd really sink my time into personally.

It's og RE4 mercenaries but missing characters, a map, and has a stupid enemy limit

Pretty nice for what it is. Nice of them to add this "addition" for free and sadly with two characters and a stage missing which I assume will be added once they manage to release separate ways. Down to its core, it's pretty similar to the good ol' RE4 mercenaries' experience with the edition of the mayhem power-up they had in RE8 village which is pretty damn helpful with certain encounters and facing overwhelming odds at times. Took about an hour or so to clear each level with a character with an S rank which seems easier than the original.

Decided to give this a try after I finished the main story. It is pretty fun for a side mode but I can't see myself playing this for more than an hour or two.

I fucking love RE4R Combat. This is peak Gunplay in Videogame Media.

apesar de curto e meio limitado é divertidissimo, por ser de graça não tenho oq criticar, só acho q esse seria um online de resident evil bem melhor do que oq a capcom vem tentando fazer

S++ everything in the matter of like a day I was so hooked

queria que tivesse mais fases... mas é divertido pra caceta

a fun little minigame that feels fast and frantic - combined with the excellent combat of RE4, makes for a good time. mayhem mode feels insanely fun to use and the game makes the most out of RE4's mechanics. despite all of that, the lack of the marine map along with cut characters is a bummer, and I hope to see them back sometime

RE4R's combat is peak, so so addicting

its re4 combat. therefore, its pretty damn fucking good!!

wow luis sucks but kramer has a stinger that is so opium

The characters are fun to play as but they should add more maps, there are only 4
