I saw this game while browsing this site and it unlocked a hidden memory
The gameplay is acceptable but the real star here is the abundance of absolutely memorable one liners. The only actually worthwhile piece of the Tak franchise.
Fuck the river segment's of this game, it super funny tho

They could probably make a decent revival of this series
Tak 2 is a monumentally better game than the original Tak for a multitude of reasons: Better jump physics, dialogue, less I-Frame issues, the list could go on. I would argue there are a few too many difficulty spikes for a kids game, but maybe the kids enjoyed that sort of thing. I can assure y'all I was not a fan. The animal puzzles always stumped me as a kid, haha.
I still think this game is pretty darn good, and I know a remaster would never happen, i think it would be darn amazing to see this little rat of a man in HD

i have fond memories of the gba version, that game is very pretty
