Dagli sviluppatori di A hat in time, questo titolo è un notevole passo indietro. Non è brevissimo, nonostante quel che si legge in giro, ma la maggior parte dei task sono estremamente monotoni. Si incapperà sempre in cose come "raccogli x farfalle", "pesca x pesci" o "pianta x semi". Di zona in zona aumenteranno le quantità, per cui dal raccogliere dieci farfalle si arriverà, per esempio, a doverne raccogliere una trentina: questa mancanza di varietà, a mio avviso, è un problema se contestualizzato a un gioco semplice in ogni suo aspetto. Lo stile grafico è molto carino, ma nulla di particolarmente interessante. I vari livelli non sono neanche interessanti a tal punto da invogliare a esplorarli per intero, così come sono banali tutte le interazioni coi vari personaggi presenti (perlopiù rane e canidi). Le stesse attività di platforming sono molto limitate, essendo solo possibile, come unica variazione allo slide-jump, il tirare una capocciata al muro per rimbalzare indietro. Va bene solo per rilassarsi qualche ora, già che non è possibile subire danno in alcun modo.

its a really fun and charming platformer there are no enemy nothing its just good and fun platforming with no twists and turns it feels a lot like banjo kazzoie but i only ever played few minutes of the games( because i emulated it), all the character are very liable and fun the art style is this 2d sprites in 3d its its very unique , there is a subplot where u actually ran away from house because u are sick of your mom trying to make into this ideal person that u are not . the reoccurring character are have really funny interaction . its really worth the time and money the only criticism any one who does play the game is that have is there should have been more mini games because the one that are already there are very fun but its not enough for the games length as it does recycle a lot of mini game - these are my thoughts on the game

not only is this game absolutely adorable but it's also a TON of fun!! i wasn't expecting to enjoy this as much as i did but it would easily be my favourite game if it were longer. the dialogue is charming, the character designs are adorable and the little tasks are very enjoyable!

my only gripe is the game is very buggy. there's several areas of the map where various parts of the level will flicker in and out of existence and the bathhouse, although the prettiest level in the game, is full of odd graphical bugs involving random flashes of lighting. i also had one moment where i was afk and left the game running in the background and when i came back, i'd somehow fallen inside of a rock with no way to get out?? that was weird lol.

Most average collectathon ever. At best it's a good cleanser for the mind, but I wouldn't recommend this to anybody who's trying to get into the genre. It reuses so much content, which would be okay if the actual content was exciting. I hope the DLC addresses this problem.

Having said that, the artstyle is pleasant, the controls are pretty solid, and the story (while short lived) is quite good. For a first outing, I think the devs did a really good job. It's a shame that Gears for Breakfast published this, as it gave unfair expectations.

wow is this game insanely charming. feels solid to run around in, the dive especially is pretty fun. it looks insanely good, I'm a huge fan of the art style and all the various character designs. the characters are fun and have lots of sweet little interactions, I really liked the credits just catching up with all of my friends from throughout the game!

it's a very chill and easy experience filled to the brim with charm and joy. i could see someone finding $25 a bit steep for what you get so maybe wait for a sale, but regardless a very fun game worth your time if you love cute and cozy platformers!
