the fact that this is so underrated in the pokemon fanbase is a crime.
shame this series will likely never return
really good game, the story was pretty fun and it's one of the better spin-offs of pokemon. the concept of being a ranger is dope

the sequel put in some much needed improvments from the first one (you dont start over when scewing up the loop, different partner pokemons) but it sadly doesnt take away the repetivness from the core gameplay mechanic (drawing circles)
another thing is the annoyance of having to capture a pokemom EVERYTIME you needed to fasttravel somewhere...
i will say tho the npc dialouge/flavortext, sidequests and charaters overall brought a more overall charm to the game in a greater level compared to the first one.

Major improvements made from the 1st and the story itself made this by far the best of the 3 Ranger games.
I ruined my screen because of this game but it was worth it
gameplay loop of "run into roadblock, find pokemon that gets rid of road block, and get rid of roadblock" gets pretty boring after a while but it ends really strong and I am a sucker for games that end really strong

There is maybe nothing more intense in any Nintendo game than the bonus content at the end of this game. its worth playing through it for that tower alone
