Great history but the gameplay is just outdated compared to other saints row. I really like the idea that you can run the town whatever you may be and killing EACH GANG MEMBER. The guns could be more variated but that´s not a big issue for me. The soundtrack is really good taking great musics perhaps the best in the franchise. Nevertheless you should try this game for his history. The 100% is fine as long it doesn´t makes you boring for doing the same missions twice. Also This is my review for the PC version. WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS PC PORT? HOW IS THIS GAME RECOGNIZED BY WINDOWS A DAMN CALL. AND ALSO THE SHITTY 22050HZ ON THE MUSIC IT LOOKED I WAS LISTENING TO MY POOP SINGING. and also the otimisation is the worse I ever saw. I had a good graphics card from like 2017-2018 and this runs barely runs above 30-40 fps. like what. never the less I think you might like the game but get a guide and start to do a 100% thing.

this one is in a very weird state as the middle kid since the first one and the third one are very good yet very different, and this one is just there, its not bad but it doesnt stand to the rest of the series

Played this game on both XBox and PC, both physical and digital copies. The PC port is pretty terrible to be completely honest, but the lag and glitches don't annoy me as much as they probably should.

Still the best in the series as far as I'm concerned. After this one the tone was radically changed and the story took a very wacky over the top trajectory, no longer resembling the gangster inspired roots of the series.
Man, the memories
Feels like everyone who made this game was fired straight after finishing it, cause the heart this game had was lost in the next 2. The best of the series, no doubt.

i'd give anything to play this game again. even though i WAY too young to be playing this (so young i barely understood the various sexual innuendos they sprinkle throughout the world) it quickly became one of my favorite games ever. im dying for a re-release on console, as the PC release is broken and the game hasn't been released on current/last gen consoles.
Not without its faults, this is so much more fun than its predecessor...and has so, SO much less annoying shit baked into its design. One of the best sequels ever.
Probably the best GTA clone. Just silly enough to be entertaining without being obnoxious.

Easy standout of the series. Took Saints Row from an obvious GTA clone to something that could stand on its own. The sequels lost a lot of what made this game great sadly.
