I honestly really love this game, but idk, for some reason it just didn't hold my attention

game is ok, gameplay and graphics are nothing ordinary, maybe fun with friends, i don't like the size of the dlc's a lot should be in the game for free...

Great timesink, would be awesome if it worked someday.

I like how you can use cheats to get the trophies

So I'm a pretty big fan of base-buildy/survival game jobbies like this. And don't get me wrong, I've sunk tens of hours into this one on a private server with friends. But Conan Exiles just didn't stick to me like something like Valheim or Raft did.

In my opinion, pretty much all good survival crafters have a gimmick. Valheim had its sea voyages, Raft had you taking your base with you. Conan has... slavery? It's pretty edgy and a bit uncomfortable but, more than that, I just didn't find it at all interesting. Perhaps I would have if I'd spent more time on it, but the skills & knowledge system in the game very much encourages division of duties between multiple players; that's fine, it makes the server much more collaborative, but it does mean that most players won't even interact with the thrall system that the devs clearly spent the most time on.

The building system was pretty good though, and I spent most of my time with it. But dear lord does it take a long time to cook bricks and other materials needed for building; literally hours to get enough bricks to last what feels like 30 minutes of building. And it was this ratio of busywork and waiting to gameplay that I think finally switched me off this one.

It's a shame, because the hand-crafted map is vast and full of things to see and do, and I don't feel like I really scratched the surface. But I feel that a lot of the development time being used to add content would have perhaps been better spent elsewhere; I've not even touched on the bugs, the bizarre design choices like banning alligators from swimming or the pain of spending 20 minutes to find the last enemy so the current raid finally ends. All in all, Conan gets a big 'ehhh' from me.

every 6 months i get the itch and binge it for about 20 hours until all the cracks in the game (like weird progression and off-kilter balancing) hit like a truck all at once and i drop it

A good survival game with a mature twist. The game makes no compromises on nudity and gore and overall tone which suits the Conan name. I am not a fan of the survival game genre, but I enjoyed my time playing this game with friends on a custom server.

The actual gameplay of most survival games gets tedious to me over time and eventually, this game was no different. Resources, crafting, base building, hunting, it's all here. However, if you have a good crew to run through this game with, it will provide a decent amount of fun and content. If you are a fan of survival games, you may find the game more enjoyable than I did and I advise you to give it a shot.

One of the better games in the open world multiplayer survival sandbox space, though it still kind of just sucks. The world is genuinely extremely interesting to explore, combat is a little stiff though not bad, and the construction system allows for some really interesting gameplay. Unfortunately the game is balanced around having a massive group to play with and an always-on server for real-time progression to tick. You can adjust these via sliders, but I found that even with mods it was difficult to overcome things like boss encounters tuned for a large number of players. Some structures take genuinely insane amounts of materials. The game's also just very buggy, with bosses sometimes spawning in such a way that they become impossible to damage, or KOd enemies clipping through terrain. There's some genuinely good experiences in here, but they're hidden inside an extremely rough game.

Me and a friend rented a server and played the game for about a week or so and had a decent time with it until we found out that being a server admin basically lets you have the platinum trophy within maybe 2-3 minutes, so we did it and shortly after lost interest in it.
The game felt a bit slow and the only fun thing we had was building giant bases, summoning gods and fighting each other until it got too repetitive.
Similar issue to Ark - it's just not my type of game. But it was fun for what it was.

Liked the basic character creator, world, and building. Wouldn't recommend it over other survival games, also got bad arachnophobia and after dying and spawning in the desert IN the spider zone I spent an hour crying- trying to get out to meet up with my team/friends. I stopped playing because really wasn't into the thralls/slaves at all. (And then make them do everything for you, if you're into being a slave owner this games for you!)

This game has tons of fun content in it. It is a survival game, with all good and parts of it. I loved the base building and the purge mechanics.

So much jank with none of the creativity allowed by a couple of other sandbox survival games such as Minecraft or Rust.

bem chato oque me fez jogar ate o fim foi a curiosidade junto com um amigo

Awmita ponte ropa de una puta vez.

i have a weaknes for early access survival games

Like Ark but everything kills you

I've put a TON of time into this game and had a ton of fun. The game itself is alright, but the communities make it great.

Played for the nsfw, left after I got bored of nsfw content

Sturdy bones of an interesting sandbox rpg buried under the muck of open worldy survival crafty.

"Mom, can we get Skyrim?"
"No, we have Skyrim at home."
Skyrim at home:

Not for me, I can't go without mentioning the vast array of content crammed into this and all its DLCs - which could easily consume hundreds of hours without even getting to it all. And making a massively-scaled fantasy game within the world of Conan the Barbarian is a sound idea on paper. But also... no. Hard on the eyes as well as the hands - pretty violently butt-ugly graphics for 2018 and frumpish to control, you can also just use the in-game menus to cheat every trophy within 15 minutes. And then the worlds aren't even any fun to traverse if you do choose to play it legit. Can't see any way I would have a good time with this.

Só serve pra pegar platina

Só joguei pra fazer o 1000g, mas ainda falta 1 conquista, mas depois eu faço. Gamer Tag (nome no xbox): xTiuJow557

A fine enough survival game with some clunky combat and way too many spiders. the game pass version does not let me see my character's penis, so it loses points

Survivor games disgust me, hated this

Awful, just awful. It looks gross, plays gross, and feels gross. Just, no thank you.
