I like this game more than I should. I just like the part where Nero's girlfriend gets stolen by the pope and he proceeds to punch him repeatedly until he gives her back.
Great combat that's hampered by some annoying levels and the second half of the game being the first half but backwards. Nero is a very funny character to play.

if we split this game up in 2 halfs, the first half would be 5 stars and the second would be 2. both the second best and second worst game in the series at once, what a title to have lmao

Dmc 4 é peculiar, eles investiram em um novo protagonista e ficou bem feito, o combate é muito bom e os Bosses são bem descentes, só a história que eu achei bem fraca e o Boss final genérico

Introdução do Nero bacana, e melhorou a questão dos estilos do Dante deixando mais dinamico. Uma historia "ok" e uma jogabilidade fluida.... Porém, a perfeição iria chegar ainda.
definitely a flawed game, its really upsetting how fun the first half is then as soon as you play as dante the game just falls off so hard. Despite this i think its my fav dmc just cuz Nero is such a cool ass protagonist and his devil trigger is literally like a jojo stand and thats so fcking raw, also Nero mechanically is just more fun to me than dante but am kinda a noob lol x3 game is so chill tho

Awesome, Nero's character is great, and literally me.
El general es un buen juego, pero llega a ser un poco repetitivo, sus niveles un poco aburridos y casi no hay puzzles.
this is the most average dmc game, i think theres just as many pros as cons, but atleast this game has alot of variety when it comes to combat, which is nice but god... the character writing and everything else is just so goddamn awful

Mas o jogo continua sendo muito foda, as músicas são PERFEITAS! A gameplay é gostosa e ainda tem o dante e o vergil(vulgo senhor apelação) o jogo é muito divertido no geral, eu sempre guardarei carinho por esse aqui! Independente do 3 ou do 5 ser superior.

It's kind of bad, but it's still DMC with the best combat in the series
O intankável é a repetição de cenário e bosses. Não joguei outros Devil May Cry, mas apesar desses problemas ai o jogo é muito foda.

joguei muito esta bomba no 360, curiosamente foi meu primeiro DMC e eu gostei pra caralho apesar do Nero ser emo buxa o design dele pra época era foda o único erro desse jogo é repetir as mesmas fases e mesmos boss com o dante pq o nero foi incompetente em matar eles.
Eu genuinamente amo esse jogo. Joguei no Xbox, não consegui zerar mas me apaixonei pelo combate, personagens, estética. Depois de anos, ganhei na steam e pude zerar em toda a glória dos combos SSS
dmc4! story's ok but dante and new characters like nero are great! the combat is better, dante's section is kinda lazy but still fun to play, the bossfights are fun, and the soundtrack is just as good! would recommend

Definitely a bit biased since it was my first dmc game but I love it so much. Only bad part abt it is having to replay the missions again as Dante but i think its amazing
eu até que gostei desse, porém o jogo foi feito na preguiça. Ter que seguir um caminho com o nero e enfrentar alguns bosses e voltar o caminho todinho com o dante pra enfrentar os mesmos bosses de novo, se manca capcom.

And I love the separate aesthetic that this game gets with a different—more Final Fantasy-like—protagonist that makes anime noises (I don't like anime; I like Nero).
Here's the thing: the Nero part of this story, and the way it's told, is very cool and inventive, but people just weren't ready for that in 2008. It's when you turn into Dante, and you have to go through the same parts you went through as Nero, that the game really just starts crawling a bit. Just a bit. I'm gonna be honest: up until the Dante part, this might be my favorite DMC game.
Next up, a Lady and Trish game, right? I mean, you said you didn't really want to make more traditional Devil May Cry games. So, let's not. A Nero solo game? Non-hack and slash Lady segments? Trish? ...Lucia? Right? Right??
