This season was kinda bad... Mostly because it enforced broken mechanics and vehicles bundled in with a lot of PvE specifically with Fortnite NPCs (this was about the time The Seven and the IO started having massive conflict in the middle of the island, so you could like, infiltrate IO outposts and stuff like that) but asides from that... I don't remember much else from it? It was just very forgettable asides from the UFOs and the changes to locations, but I bet no one even remembers about the infected chickens or the virus you could wear on your head that gave you more speed for the inability to swim and stuff like that. At least the crafting system wasn't so bad this time around, Nuts and Bolts made for an interesting mechanic in which you could get sidegrades for your weapons instead of evolutions or variations.

Battle Pass this time around was alright, some skins were cool but did the tier 100 really have to be Rick Sánchez? Like yeah, good collab and all but it kickstarted a trend of having a crossover skin as a level 100 from here on now, which wasn't really a creative move by Epic, since they just kinda vaulted all designs for cool skins as the final reward in order to sell out, but oh well. At least Operation Sky Fire and the return of the Cube was cool.

(Also I don't remember exactly but I think this was the last season in which levels had an XP progression instead of all being the same XP amount to get to the next one, but that's very unfortunate)

Despite late Chapter 2 being one of the most boring times in Fortnite history, Season 7 was an exception. Alien season had everything a good season need, CONTENT

more content = better season

And not only did it have content but there was always new content being added.

What did I like? To kick things off, who didn't enjoy flying around in a U.F.O sending hell into other players, while this was kinda annoying to fight against it was pretty easy to shoot them out of the sky.

The other thing about U.F.O's is that they could pick things up, including other players, which was less annoying than you'd expect, and way more satisfying to just pick up the last remaining player and yeet them into the zone.

You could also pick up massive semi--trucks and yeet them into enemies just trying to fight, the memes this season were legendary.

Speaking of content this season... who could forget the Motherships at different POI's that would abduct you, and you would have to collect the stars and battle other players, and at the end you would have like 10 seconds to get all the loot you could, the more stars you got the better loot you would get.

It was honestly really fun! We also had those alien parasites that would take health off you if they attached to you, but in return make you faster! They were a little annoying as you couldn't bloody get them off.

The battle pass was honestly really good, I didn't have it this season but Rick and Morty collab was Golden, especially toxic Rick and Gay Rick super level.

To this day Gotta Get Shwifty is my favourite synced emotes in Fortnite and has been stuck in my head since it came out in the item shop.

Also the Ariana Grande event was really good, really! Travis Scott was better however it really made an impact on the season, like I said, more content = better season.

What didn't I like? Nothing, honestly an S tier season that I will never forget amongst some of the best Epic has ever put out.

SEASON RANK: 13th

THE HUMAN WORLD, IT'S A BORE, EVERYBODY'S WORKING ALL THE TIME, IT'S A CHORE, NO-ONE UNDERSTANDS, WHAT I KNOW, THAT THIS PLANET'S NOT FOR ME, OH, DON'T YOU SEE, OH, THAT I WISH I WAS AN, ALIENS, THAT'S WHERE I WANT TO BE! YEAH, THAT'S WITH ALIENS, THAT'S WHO I WANT TO SEE! Truly a hidden gem among Fortnite seasons. The alien theme was awesome and the summer event was a blast. UFOs were a bit overpowered but at least they were fun overpowered. Battle pass was pretty cool but I will never forgive Epic for introducing this stupid battle star system to the game, it just destroys any sense of progression that the previous linear system had, sure the sense of choice is cool but the ends don't justify the means. Loot pool was nothing special and it is still the Chapter 2 map but it was a pretty cool season overall even if the live event was fairly sub par.
