it's a fun little cozy city-building game that you can do to waste a few minutes. i wish there was more to the sandbox, and more to the high score mode... and also to the rest of it, it gets repetitive very quickly. the sounds are nice, the style is nice, but it really does feel like this would be way more suited for a mobile game or some sort of on-the-go kind of game rather than a sit-down game. still, there's a fun little mastery i think you could really get from it, and i will definitely come back to it whenever i feel like not sinking my time and stress into cities: skylines. plus, less than a gig!
Methodically assemble your city piece by piece and get points for this to use to explore new islands. It’s not stressful, but it can drag on for a long time, you have to be careful.
Методично собирай свой город по кусочкам, получай за это очки, чтобы использовать их для исследования новых островов. Ненапряжно, но может затянут надолго , надо быть острожным.

Uncomplicated city builder with two modes: score and sandbox. This was a fantastic puzzle game, if it's fair to call it that?
You choose from a set of buildings to place strategically on your map to earn a score. For example, you could grab a Lumberjack building and place it next to trees. Then place a Sawmill near the Lumberjack to earn points.
Be careful, because poor planning could ruin your building placements in the future. You can only undo the last building you have placed. Once you have earned a high score, you can move to the next island. It may sound very boring in my writing but if you enjoy non demanding, chill games, I recommend giving this a try.

A very simple yet intriguing strategy game, Islander it's the perfect choice for relax and killing time.
In the base mode of Islander, you start in a procedurally generated isle with a pack of building to build. Each building will give you point based on the other surrounding elements such trees and other buildings and gives you the opportunity to unlock a new pack with new buildings to place on you Island. Once reached a centain amount of points, you can finally move on a new island and start again, getting as much as points as you can get until you remain without buildings and ending the game. Every move need to be ponderated well as you want to obtain as much points from a single building that you can.
Or, you can go on creative mode and just make the city you like, a player even reproduced Minas Tirith!
Overall, worth to play.

A fun game to pick up and play casually. The concept of building an island is fairly easy to learn but hard to master. In a way, this is a very simplified version of something like Sim City but more on the side of a puzzle strategy game with all the different types of buildings and restrictions you have to juggle in order to progress from one Island to the next.
Highly recommended, it's a good time waster and priced accordingly to boot.

Calling it a city builder would be misleading, it's a mildly city-themed casual puzzle game. I think the expectations are important, because I quickly grew tired of it, there's just not enough interaction between the buildings except for their spatial distance to make it interesting. But as a casual game - why not give it a try?
A fairly neat puzzle/strategy game about constructing a liveable island building by building, and trying to place everything sensibly to make a "functioning" miniature civilisation. It's very simple to play and a decent time killer, but it's not a game I'd sink a lot of time into.
If I wanted a chill "city building" puzzle game, I would play Dorfromantik instead!
