Great visuals and animations, but these top down RC car style racers just don't do it for me.

This is an all-time arcade favorite of mine. I remember playing this near the entrance to an old Wal-Mart as a kid. Still fun today especially with others. You inevitably spin the wheel too far and spend the race trying to get your car back on the track but that's part of the fun and then spending all your cash between racing trying to out-strategize your friends. This is almost a guaranteed good time.

When played with a wheel on the arcade cabinet, this game handles so well. I had such a blast racing, making serious dough, and investing into supplies for more races. Never before or since playing this game have I felt more like I was living the life of a real professional racer freak.

An absolute arcade classic, a racing game where it's easy to see how everyone's doing but will swallow your eyesight if you want to be good at it. Perfect spectator sport, just an absolute killer.

Coooooooooooool.

Actual steering wheels and pedals! This is what arcade games are all about: weird controllers!! However, the game itself is not super great, I'm afraid. It's a bit R.C. ProAm in the graphics and control and gameplay departments. I remember the wheel controller actually making it pretty tough to play, which is unfortunate, as it's a fine racer for the time, I suppose. Maybe that was just all the janky Chuck 'E' Cheese cabinets I played this game on. I do recall finding the game at a pizza place later on in life and still being bad at the game, though. It is unfortunate that if you don't finish first, you have to pay to continue, but that's capitalism, I guess.

Truuuuucks.

A fun top-down racing game. Not much else to it, aside the fact you can buy upgrades to your vehicle between races. A game I always go back to, especially on the Master System.

There's nothing quite like whipping the steering wheel in this arcade game. The NES port was a lot of fun too.

A fairly okay racing game that is a fairly neat, if limited, arcade racer.

Oh this is just so fun multiplayer with the cars going all over the place, and spending your in-game money between tracks to update your car or get boosts back. The graphics are really a delight as is the game a delight to play. Probably the best of these isometric racers out there!

Good overhead racing game with nice music and graphics. The controls are spot on which makes the game very easy o pick up and play. The customization is also a great addition.

This game has it all. Cars. “Championship Sprint”-style isometric racing. Car Upgrades. Hillbilly music. Babes.

My dad had a real nostalgic throwback playing this today on Midway Arcade Origins, and my brother and I got way more into it than we were expecting. It’s a solid little game that I can only imagine involved lots of losing quarters and spinning a wheel greased-up by some kid’s pizza-covered fingers in the arcade.

on SNES this shit never ends and it has such a crazy track order but I have completed an entire loop and it's okay
