Earned all achievements except the online-related ones, as the player base had shrunk drastically by the time I got around to playing this game to the end.

Ótimo jogo, evolução natural dos dois primeiros jogos da série e ainda trouxe coisa novas que eu curti bastante, principalmente por ser um jogo mais focado na exploração e nas mecânicas do que nas batalhas.

A história é simples igual os jogos da série principal do Mario, então nem é um ponto a se falar, por isso vou focar no gameplay e na parte técnica do jogo.

A parte técnica do jogo é ótima, o gráfico é lindíssimo, é um dos melhores da plataforma Switch, os efeitos são incríveis e a expressão facial dos personagens são muito boas, assim como as suas animações, a iluminação do cenário é incrível e muito bem feita, o jogo é muito fluído e não tem quedas de frames, isso é incrível visto que ele é muito bonito.

Agora a jogabilidade, ela é muito boa, é a melhor jogabiliade de um Luigi's Mansion, uma melhora absurda se comparada ao segundo jogo, eu sei que o segundo jogo era pro 3DS e eles até fizeram o possível, mas não tem como, essa aqui é a melhor jogabilidade pra um jogo da série, os novos movimentos e a adição do Gooigi foram muito boas, esse é o jogo mais variado da série, mesmo se passando em um só local como no primeiro jogo, os devs foram muito criativos fazendo as mecânicas dele, e isso deixou o jogo muito divertido de se jogar, ele é mais focado na exploração do que nos combates, eu gostei disso, passei mais tempo resolvendo puzzles e procurando colecionáveis do que lutando, as nova mecânicas foram muito em implementadas na exploração.

Agora de parte negativa, eu achei o jogo "enrolado" em alguns momentos, por exemplo tem um gato chefe em determinado momentos, e a gente enfrenta ele justamente após vencer outros chefes, o problema é que ele fica fugindo e caçar ele é muito repetitivo e chato, pra mim ele foi só pra encher linguiça, assim como alguns andares que foram bem pouco explorados e meio "Fillers". Falando nos chefes, a grande maioria deles foram ótimos, porém foram fácies também, eu só achei o ultimo mais complicado, o resto foi de boa.

Aliás o jogo todo é bem fácil, eu fiz 100% nele e como eu falei só achei mais complicado o ultimo chefe, de resto foi de boa, até alguns puzzles foram ridículos de tão fáceis.

Pra finalizar, eu gostei do jogo, acho que ele é o melhor Luigi's Mansion dos três, apesar de ser muito fácil e um pouco repetitivo ele é muito divertido, cativante e tem mecânicas ótimas, é um dos destaques do console Nintendo Switch!

Uno de los juegos más hermosos en cuanto gráficos para Nintendo Switch, no me gusta tanto el rumbo que lleva la saga pero sí siento que hizo un gameplay que vale la pena para todos.

It has its moments, dark moon is better, maybe its the nostalgia, but this game is also cool.

Was just going to check it out, but now I don't know I might just end up completing it :D The control is a little awkward for me, but that lack of precision is almost part of the fun and vacuuming up piles of cash and stuff feels really good, scratching some kind of itch regardless of whether I'm doing a good job of it.

Extremely good. Feels so fluid and high quality. They did not have to go this hard for a luigi's mansion game. The peak of nintendo quality is really seen in the uniqueness of the levels and the quality of gameplay.

Luigi's Mansion is an adventure puzzle game, not really about capturing ghosts or mashing the A button, the appeal have always been the creativity of its level's puzzle design, and this one had just that, until it didn't. For the most part, almost every level was engaging and fun to figure out, until the end levels proved to be no more than just a free pass to the next floor, now you are just mashing the A button. Last level was good again tho. Bosses were alright, game controls were fine and level's design were more often than not the best part of the game. This is the first Mansion I got to complete but I feel the previous ones felt somewhat more "scary" and engaging.

It’s so charming and cute and full of attention to detail and it sucks that the combat didn’t receive as much care and consideration as everything else in the game. Throwing ghosts around and mashing the A button got tiring before the second level even started

this game is AWESOME! the artstyle, the animation, the gameplay, the music! everything about this game is awesome. while not as spooky as the first game, it still is very fun and enjoyable!

First half of the game had me going gaga, then I got super bored. The gameplay remains the same all the way through and becomes SUPER STALE. I shelved it once, came back, remembered why I shelved it, and shelved it again. Good parts are really good, but it's lacking a lot of depth.

Such a step up from Dark Moon this game is really fun from the puzzles to the hotels and the ghost's designs they're all great, The animations are the most lively the Mario cast has ever been.

This game holds a special place in my heart because it was the first game that I ever bought with my own money. However, I would always try to start it up around Halloween time and just never manage to beat it, which caused an endless loop (still think that it’s stupid they released ON HALLOWEEN DAY). These past couple of days I finally decided to buckle down and beat the game and I’m glad I did. Great level design from start to finish with each hotel floor bringing its own level of uniqueness to the table. While there may be some duds in there, they still managed to crack a smile out of me with its physical humor. Furthermore, this is some of the best the Mario cast has ever looked, with each of them feeling so expressive. The bosses all around were pretty solid, albeit a lot of them could be stacked up to “wait until this thing happens so you can do this.” Even with those minor complaints I enjoyed exploring each floor, and the new mechanics were all nice and welcomed ones. I think Gooigi added nice variety to the gameplay and the final sequence left me satisfied. I know some people don’t like the “brightness” of the game but I think they did a good job of having a decent balance. Overall, I enjoyed my time with this game quite a bit and I’m glad to have it out of my backlog!

FUN ENOUGH. It's been ages since I revisited this so maybe my judgement is clouded but I do enjoy dark moon better TBH. Good visuals though!

In terms of visuals, this game is one of the best on the Switch.
The animations are fluid, full of personality and overall possibly the best I've seen in a Nintendo game; they're honestly more like what you'd expect from a movie.
The way everything is lit elevates the cartoony style in the best possible way and manages to lend every floor a sense of atmosphere that's especially strong at the beginning and during the finale of the game.

Pretty much every object is interactable and physics-based, leading to lots of fun chaos while flinging objects across the room, sucking them up or during fights.
It's really cool to see all the tricks the developers pulled out of their hats to make this game look and run this well, even when there's lots of stacks of coins on screen for example.

Despite its positives, Luigi's Mansion 3 didn't really manage to connect with me.
There's a huge variety of ideas, lots of different floors with unique gimmicks, but in the larger context of a hotel, they ultimately fail to establish a cohesive theme.
The initial spookines of the intro falls to the wayside rather quickly, turning the game into more of a theme-park consisting of entertaining, but largely disconnected set pieces.

Something I kept looking forward to though were the bossfights at the end of each floor, which is where the gameplay really shines.
Some of the fights were more similar to puzzles, while others leaned heavier towards action, but you get to make full use of Luigi's arsenal and enjoy listening to a captivating piece of the soundtrack either way.
Standard enemies, on the other hand, could have used a bit more variety, especially when you consider how many of these battles you have to fight.
Instead of finding more creative solutions, difficulty is increased by throwing more and more enemies at the player, which in turn made me tired of them even faster.

When it comes to traversing the hotel and exploring its rooms and halls, I have to praise the incredible amount of detail and depth in every nook and cranny.
It was a joy entering a new area and thoroughly investigating it, because I was always rewarded with secrets of some kind.
Unfortunately, this didn't mesh very well with the pace of the game, as having to backtrack multiple times meant slowly going back to a place I'd already had my fair share of.
As a consequence, backtracking rarely felt enjoyable or interesting and prolonged a game that didn't need the extra playtime.

I also wasn't a very big fan of the puzzles in Luigi's Mansion 3.
It really feels like a lot of thought and care was put into them and the game is practically overflowing with different ideas and mechanics, but at the end of the day, I almost never found myself in that sweet spot where a puzzle feels challenging, yet solvable.
Rather, solutions felt like they were either too simple or too obscure in a way that they made sense after looking them up, but didn't feel like I could've found them on my own with more effort.
I'm sure others will feel differently about that though.

Ultimately, all the little bits and pieces that are there feel like something I would love, but they didn't really come together in a way that worked for me.
I'm stressing this, because I'm certain other players will/do love Luigi's Mansion 3 to pieces, especially since the amount of care that went into its creation is fantastic.

it's a good game, but i have major gripes such as how the currency is practically useless a quarter way through the game as you have an infinite amount. the levels are cleverly designed, but for some reason i could never finish the game all the way through. pretty sure I'm on like the last level too. need to go back and beat it for good

This is how a sequel must be properly done.
Co-op all the way. Great map design, boss fights, funny ghosts and dialogues. And one of the best graphics the Switch has to offer.

The gameplay is significantly improved from the first game but the other aspects are worse.
Luigi has a lot more options in his toolkit allowing for more interesting puzzles. Suck, blow, flashlight, darklight, jump, plunger, etc. are more interesting mechanics than the generic fire/water elemental puzzles in LM1.
I played the whole game co-op which was really fun. Luigi and Gooigi had different difficultly levels so the player that's better a games can take Luigi, but the Gooigi player still has unique abilities that won't make the second player feel left out.
The bosses don't have dialogue or much personality anymore. I miss the little backstories they had. Likewise, the music is fine but doesn't have any iconic tracks like the original Luigi's Mansion theme. The graphics and animations are still detailed though, but rather than any genuine horror the game relies more on slapstick comedy.
While LM1 was short, charming, and simple, LM3 is a longer experience with significantly more depth and complexity. While I ultimately prefer the later it didn't need to sacrifice what I liked about LM1.


beautiful game to look at, definitely has the soul of the original luigi's mansion on gamecube, but its just missing something
