Definitely not as good as the first one.

listen its not necessarily bad but its not good either. its kinda like capeshit diablo and its fun for a little while but the pc port that i played sucks big nuts and it doesnt have much more to offer that you dont see in the first level or two. also, i took a full star off because this game has the worst venom design i have ever seen i am not joking it is so bad

This was my Budokai Tenkaichi 3 before Budokai Tenkaichi 3.

First time playing was at a kids house and we couldn't pass a spot where you had to put out the fire with ice/water powers.

I never saw him for like 7 years and when I did the first thing I told him was how I figured out how to pass that level in the years since.
He looked at me like I'm insane.

Doesn't quite live up to the first game, but a fun experience nonetheless.

Cool game following in the footsteps of its predecessor, but less interesting overall. The adaptation from the comic book makes the story less impactful, and the roster is uninspired. Additionally, the attempt at a more realistic graphic approach makes the game look unpolished. It's a good game, but not as good as its predecessor.

Mediocre disapointment, I cared so little I didnt even bother checking the other side (I think I did Cap side?) it also ended ridiciliously quickly. Only place worth of note here is Wakanda, one of the landmarks the first game missed, only moment worth of note is Stan L- Senator Lieber being rescued by and thanking the heroes. Outside of that, bleh.

I was just sitting there baffled as the credits rolled that it was over already, then they have Deadpool interrupt like this funny moment was soooo earned....

Glad I got to try this on PC tho thanks to that eh remaster, this port was broken af first with boxes and shit flying everywhere but an update makes it actually playable and a decent port, so there's that, atleast people can experience this on PC, which should be easier than emulation for most

I rented this game on a blockbuster.

Same as before, not good but fun as a kid

Very cool, it's a simple game, without many WOW things, but also nothing to complain about

Playing it for the first time and realised the game is very... meh. It's not awful, but nothing is gripping. The combat is a little clunky but solid, has some good weight behind the attacks which is a great core concept. The selection of heroes is great and enjoyed the individual abilities. Swapping heros keeps the fighting fresh.
The graphics and music is bland, hope you like grey and very linear paths.
I didn't like the progression system. It seemed a little vague and basic at the same time. Odd to explain.
The main reason for my criticism is the presentation. How the story presents is lack luster. The game gets too repetitive and starts to be a chore. Sure, the super abilities are awesome, but can get stale over time.

This game really makes you feel like Marvel

A little worse than the first but overall still a good game

This game is probably one of the best Marvel Games in whole history.

The story is really good, the gameplay is fluent and addictive, the post game is also nice unlocking characters if you have not time during the main story and the sidequest are entertaining. My only concern is that the game graphics and menu on Wii feels dead, but the important part is the gameplay, right?

they should make this game but only with x-men

i love the civil war aspect. my dumbass little kid self thought black panther was batman for the longest time

Good job with the sequel! Not quite as addixtive as the original, but more characters. Also, adding team up abilities was cool! Main complaint is no She-Hulk.

Not as good as the first, but as a kid i enjoyed it

My gosh, have fun fighting the same boss at least 3 times each. I thought the first Ultimate Alliance was repetitive but playing this second one gives me a whole new perspective on the first. The first had some jank, a lot of it, but this game tried to polish things up but ultimately left became a worse experience for it. First off, the menus were a huge downgrade. Especially the in game upgrading. The shield circles in the first and team selection was way better. Second, the gameplay was somewhat repetitive in the first but horrendously repetitive in the second. The combat for the entire game was built around the combo powers. Almost every sustained engagement happens on a circle platform with enemies coming from all around. Geez, at the end I just wanted the game to end. Once you've been through the first third of the game, you've seen everything except the story. Third, the story was pretty bland and lackluster. The original Civil War book isn't as good as what it's made out to be but this storyline was a snoozer. Nanites, a great excuse to send the same 4 enemies at you thousands of times. This ones going on the shelf and probably never coming off. Yikes.
