I have to be honest, I witnessed someone I care about have one of the most heartbreaking emotional breakdowns I've ever seen as they lost to the computer in this game. Haunts me to this day.

The best football sim on the market they realized the game was too fun so theyve stopped making them, good call EA

One of the best true arcade football games of all time. All elements of the game are highly stylized and cohesive within each other. The single player gameplay can be exciting, but once you have a high level team the NFL Challenge mode starts to feel like more of a chore. Games against your friends are always a blast, however, as the different win condition rule sets available keep the gameplay fresh. The sequel includes numerous quality of life improvements and gameplay updates which leaves this one feeling lackluster in comparison, unfortunately, but it still holds up well overall.

maybe the best sports game out there

So much fun, so ridiculous, and really cool to see real NFL players turned into street ballers with some cool features.

Fantastic game with classic roster. Can get a little annoying at times with fumbles vs. broken tackles. Great soundtrack.

Playing this game last night with some friends has caused me to develop a better understanding of how football works than years of taking PE classes and attending football games for marching band.

I was able to make my entire friend group in this game (accurately) all except for myself funny enough. Seeing the homies talk trash and have super powers while playing football will never not be mad entertaining. Would highly recommend!

NFL Street is easily my favorite football game. My dad and I would, and still do, play this quite often. 7/10

With how much I loved NBA Street, I was coming into NFL Street hoping to love it... let's just say, that I'm glad I rented it only, and didn't waste any more money. Football just doesn't fit the "Street" format like the basketball games do.

It's nowhere near the masterpiece I thought it was when I was a kid, but it's still a pretty good game. The style and control are what carry it for me these days.

me and my lil brother would go to war over this one.

The first NFL Street game is a bit shallow but still remains fun. The art direction is impressive for the era. The fields are vibrant and the players have a lot of personality. The lone single-player campaign can be a grind and there's really just not much else to do but play exhibition games.

Like NBA Street, the first entry in the series is a good start, but the sequel expands and improves upon it in every category.

The only non-Mario sports series I ever really got into for whatever reason.

The Legacy of NFL Blitz live on in of the best Sports games ever made

One of the few sports games to really hook me, also is the game that got me into watching football. Super fun to play with friends, but the single player is fucking brutal and by the end I was just hurling my controller across the room. Still, great game.
