I didn't like this one as much as the first. Deeper and creepier storyline which isn't a bad thing but I craved the simplicity of the first game. Way too much sudden flashing with no warnings. If you are at risk of seizures I would recommend not playing this tbh. Another quick gameplay that I finished over a couple days.
Fireproof Games did it again!! If you are a fan of The Room or escape games in general, you'll love this game!! The sequel upholds the standard of fun puzzles, great atmosphere, and helpful hints, and ups the ante with chapters even more immersive than the original!! Yet another 10/10, looking forward to what Room 3 and 4 have in store!! :)
Just an all-around improvement from the first game. Its surprisingly creepy with its themes and story, and at times even a bit scary. The atmosphere and vibe of this game are its strongest aspects, however some of the puzzles rely a bit too much on hiding a small button somewhere random. I prefer to not use the hint system for games like these, but from what I've heard this game's version of a hint system is really well done. I do just hope the future games focus more on the addicting logic puzzles, rather than just hiding buttons and levers.

Very fun puzzles, but it's hard to rate it that highly for me due to the very short length. And the story and atmosphere although are there don't really elevate the experience that much. It's a fun game that I don't regret playing, but in the end it's not something I'm going to think back to that much.
the puzzles aren't as hard as i thought they were when i was younger lol i think the puzzles are kinda easy but that doesn't make it a bad game. and it's a pretty game but i didn't understand anything of the story...
i wont be able to decide if this game is better than the room 1 because i remember absolutely nothing from the first game lol

The Room Two was bigger in scope than the first, with environments to progress through rather than a single stationary object. The puzzles themselves remained the same with having to inspect every nook and cranny, and it was no less satisfying when manipulating switches, levers, etc. The use of an eyepiece returned, which revealed hidden objects and brought deeper intricacies to the puzzles. There was a story but it was difficult to try and piece together. Regardless, I still liked the cosmic themes and the somewhat creepy atmosphere.
There’s a reason the series is regarded as highly as it is—puzzle lovers will find some form of enjoyment.
