My first WWE game since WWE ‘12. The showcase mode is hilariously bad. 40 years of Wrestlemania but decides to skip a few of them. Austin vs Michaels?? Rock vs Hollywood Hogan?? Brock vs Kurt Angle??? The Rock vs Cena!? Triple H vs The Undertaker hell in a cell??

Smackdown vs Raw 2011… now that was a good game

shit talk all you want but anton chigurh vs king from tekken is one of the greatest rivalries of alltime and none of you peasants will experience the 5 star bangers they put on in the squared circle

Alright, WWE 2K24 is definitely a step up from that 2K20 mess. The wrestling feels way smoother, the roster's huge, and I actually enjoyed the cheesy stories in MyRise and Showcase. It still has bugs, and honestly, some matches get boring, but overall, it does a pretty good job of making you feel like a WWE superstar. If you're a big wrestling fan, you'll probably have a decent time with it.

Рестлинг - это круто!

Another solid wrestling game but the showcase is ass and it's got a couple glitches that could be ironed out. Really love how they added 5 finisher and signature slots 🔥🔥🔥

Well, 2K you lucky sum bitches. You've done it again. Another fucking solid WWE game.

It's like they're finally giving a shit about getting better every year now which I love. Everything great from last year is here with a lot of new epic stuff too.

And the added realism is so cool. Wrestlers ' face paints coming off during matches showing how goofy my CAW looks underneath is something I didn't know I needed.

Casket Match! YEP! Ambulance Match! AHHHH! Special Referee! FUCK YES! So glad we got Casket and Special Referee back. Just praying we get Buried Alive next year. And all three matches play great! I'm actually enjoying being a Special Referee online more than just wrestling. It's so much fun.

Showcase this year is....kinda wonky. I get why they did the 40 Years of WrestleMania but....not every WrestleMania is there. And it really suffers due to a lot of great wrestlers that were at WrestleMania are now in AEW and can't be in the game (Daniel Bryan, Chris Jericho, Edge just to name a few.) Seriously, guys. Make some sort of deal between the two companies to get these guys in future games. We miss them!

Also, the cut from gameplay to the actual match is kinda annoying this time. Mainly due to all the blurs in the archive footage. It really takes me out of it. Some of them being really unnecessary. Though I find it funny that Vince McMahon is blurred out in one cut-scene and yet is fully visible in another.

Yeah. Less said about him the better considering what's happened.

MyRise is fun again! Doesn't feel as gimmicky as the last year and feels more like a genuine storyline like Road to WrestleMania was in the Smackdown vs RAW series. I'm enjoying that so far.

Online however? It is so fucking broken. The servers are so laggy and getting a stable session is a real chore. Please fix it ASAP, 2K. Even Community Creations feels broken this year.

But overall, this game is fantastic. And it's another solid entry. 2K have outdone themselves over the last three years. Let's hope they keep this up for years to come. Wrestling games have never felt more enjoyable.

F for AEW Fight Forever. That game ain't doing so well.

gameplay and visuals wise are definitely the best as a lot of the old legendary wrestling games like here comes the pain and no mercy are fuelled by nostalgia.

I just feel like it's wasted potential, how can you not have a decent single player mode where you can just pick a wrestler, go through a storyline with branching paths and walk around back stage in 2024 when they existed all the way back on the ps1/ps2?.

I know that there are licenses for wrestlers and themes and all that, but by now these games should have all arenas and wrestlers new and old. There are just too many iconic wrestlers and arenas missing, and with 2ks anti community stance on mods it doesn't allow for an ultimate wrestling experience. Creations is cool but limited and created wrestlers mostly end up looking goofy, and missing themes and extras breaks immersion.

I would only recommend this for die hard wrestling fans, if you stopped watching 15 years ago like me i'd say pass.

def the most fun wrestling game i've played

feels the same as the previous version. Nothing has changed.
However, it's still enjoyable because it's still WWE."

WWE 2K24 is a surprising amount of fun. It was my first bout with WWE games since 2K19, and I was surprised at how much better the gameplay was, on top of tons of different features, in what could lead to hundreds of hours of gameplay. My GM Mode is super fun, the WrestleMania Showcase is pretty cool, on top of other great staples like Universe Mode. The match variety is great with WarGames, an Ambulance Match, and more. Just need the Inferno Match back.

I give WWE 2K24 an 8!

Best wrestling game since 2k14. Its just marginally better than 2k23, but the changes in this game make it my favorite 2K made wrestling game. If your confused, 2k14 was made by yukes mostly before the rights to the WWE games were sold to 2K. 2k15 and on were made by 2K. MyRise is fine, and it could be way better if they didn't spend resources on Showcase mode which is just awful and I wish they wouldn't waste time on it, its obviously the weakest mode at this point. Universe mode is great, and the changes to allow you to fully control the camera during CPU vs CPU matches make my brand of universe mode so much more fun. I really enjoy the superstar universe mode, again i wish they'd cut showcase mode and put more manpower into it, this could be the modern day version of season mode in the old games if they just had some more fleshed out stories. But as it stands its still fun to play and gives a more enjoyable way to just play out matches.

This is a very solid foundation, I just hope they build on this, and dont scale it back in the future.

Finished the story before Cody lmao

The last wwe game I played was 2k14. After what I saw with 15 I have been observing at a distance.
I thought this year's game looked good, then I saw Jey Uso's entrance and... things haven't really changed huh. Such is the curse of yearly releases. I can't believe that the return of special referee matches is a "big feature".

now that ive been playn this new wwe 4 ab 2 weeks I can express my thoughts on it btw I m right u r not
this really feels like 2k23 with a bit more glitter on it which I dont dislike tbh
i f with the ambulance match
I like the punch after punch after punch thingy
we finally have special guest ref
dont forget wwe is way more fun with some friends and if u dont have any well that sucks
but yea 2k delivered im feelin a pretty solid 8/10 (or maybe im just glazin cody idk if you like sweaty men check it out)

Я больше не буду покупать wwe2k, смысл? Все равно одно и тоже

Boy oh boy where do I even begin. Cody.. honey, my pookie bear. I have loved you ever since I first laid eyes on you. The way you run into the ring and strike fear into your enemies eyes. Your silky smooth cross rhodes and that gorgeous disaster kick. I would do anything for you. I wish it were possible to freeze time so I would never have to watch you retire.

You had a rough first WWE run, but you never gave up hope. You are even amazing off the ring, you're a great husband and father, sometimes I even call you dad. I forever dread and weep, thinking of the day you will one day retire. I would sacrifice my own life it were the only thing that could put a smile on your beautiful face.

You have given me so much joy, and heartbreak over the years. I remember when you first left the WWE and its like my heart got broken into a million pieces. But a tear still fell from my right eye when I watched you make a name for yourself in the indies, because deep down, my glorious king deserved it. I just wanted you to return home. Then alas, you did, my sweet baby boy returned home and I rejoiced. 2023 was a hard year for us baby, but in 2024 you made history happen. You finished your story and beat Roman Reigns to win the WWE undisputed championship and I couldn't believe it.

I was crying, bawling even, and I heard my glorious king exclaim these words, "WRESTLING HAS MORE THAN ONE ROYAL FAMILY!" Not only have you changed the game of professional wrestling and the world forever, but you've eternally changed my world. And now you're getting older, but still the goat, my goat. I love you pookie bear, my glorious king, Cody Rhodes.

with over 100 hours into this game, i feel like i wont stop any time soon. while not perfect by any means, the game really hits the simulation aspect of the wrestling games on the head.

My Rise is super fun, i didn't care for roman tbh but the story and matches were good. i much preferred the female MyRise over the "undisputed" story line.

The "completed" is just for the showcase, but I play the FUCK out of these games, and this one is easily my favorite so far. The weapon throwing, the ramp camera, the announce table improvements, blood dripping, pulling down the straps midmatch, it's like the added all the small details I missed!

2k ladrones de mierda ratas ibéricas sacad una versión de pc

You know a story mode is bonkers when getting struck by a tank ain't even in the top 3 most insane moments

I play these everytime they come out and personally always enjoy myself. Big fan of the WWE games recently (Not 2k20 or Battlegrouds).

First wwe 2k game I've played in years and they haven't really advanced much. They added mygm but it's just a bit too much for me and I would have appreciated a simpler gm mode like in the svr series. The new matches like war games are pretty fun but the stiff gameplay is a bit frustrating to go through plus the game glitches out for no reason making me restart a match or the whole game crashes for no reason. It's ok if you like simulation stuff but it still needs to improve massively for me to geniuently enjoy it.

This is definitely an upgrade from the previous year. graphics as always continue to get better, but they've actually done some work in the other modes. Universe, while still not as good as I know it can be (i.e WWE 12, 13) is an improvement from the bugginess of last years game. GM mode is steadily becoming one of 2Ks most consistent and best game modes MyRise has some interesting stories this year and MyFaction will (hopefully) be a more useful mode if not for Person a cards alone. The one knock I have on this game is showcase, which was done so much better in the past games. Not giving us ingame cutscenes and instead choosing to splice the real match with the game just seems a bit dumb to me

Get your roody-poo, candy ass over to the Smackdown Hotel, because 2K's WWE series is once again back with their yearly release of WWE 2k24. WWE 2K24 celebrates 40 years of WrestleMania history, honoring the fans with a whole new batch of WWE superstars and legends, plenty of fan-favorite and quality-of-life additions, and a retrospective showcase through some of the best WrestleMania matches in WWE history.

While this year's newest additions aren't exactly huge, the amount of tune-ups and small additions are enough to make 2k24 feel a lot better than last year's release. You get new matches (Guest Referee, Ambulance, Casket, Gauntlet), animations are cleaned up (especially with Irish Whips), tag matches are fixed (tag partners can only come in the ring once per tag), and MyFaction specific models are now usable in other gamemodes.

This year's Showcase mode takes you from iconic historical matches such as Hulk Hogan versus Andre the Giant and Ultimate Warrior versus Rick Rude all the way up to modern day with Cody Rhodes versus Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39. The mode brings some WWE legends into the game, like Ricky Steamboat and George "The Animal" Steele, and some great variants of the Legends we already had, like '94 Shawn Michaels. Like the previous two games, the mode leaves a lot to be desired, but it cleverly mixes real life footage into the game's animations, and is at least expansive enough across WWE history to pique most wrestling fan's interest for at least one playthrough.

The game's story mode (MyRise) returns with another new set of stories, one in the men's division and the other in the women's division. The stories are alright, and it's fun to listen to some of the WWE stars do their best at voice acting, but you're more likely to play through the mode to unlock the specific arenas and Create-A-Wrestler items locked behind the story.

MyGM, the solo or multiplayer competitive management mode, gets a bunch of new features such as trades, new match types, and scouting. Universe mode gets a few new Rivalry cutscenes, but not much else except for some handy bug fixes. MyFaction is about the same as it was, but like I said, even if you don't like the gameplay of the mode, you may have an excuse to play through to unlock some specific wrestler variants.

2k24 feels great to play, even if the series has become more arcadey since 2k19. As I say with all sports games, this is once again a moment that shows how valuable a second year of development would be to these games; but for being whipped together in basically a year of work, WWE 2k24 is at least a whole lot of fun.

They need to make the showcases more, yano, fun but it's everything I liked about '23 and improved so no complaints.

I look at this game the way Paul Heyman looks at Roman Reigns.

It's average. A slightly better average than last year's edition, which was a slightly better average than the previous year's edition. Sad to say, that's actually high praise because this is the best 2K wrestling game ever and probably the best North American-made wrestling game of the past decade.

Fire Pro loyalists still have the best playing option, but there are some real good modes here. I think the GM mode is more compelling than it was even in the old SvR games, so if you can't get into EWR you should check this out.

The best of the new 2k WWE era (22,23,this). It goes to show EA that if you take a year off of yearly sports releases they can actually turn 180 quality wise. It's not a coincidence that 2020 was awful, they take a year off development and go straight to 2k22, and that's when the series started being good again.

22/23/24 are great, before them I hadn't enjoyed a wrestling game since Smackdown vs Raw 08. Great showcase mode this year too, albeit skipping quite a few more Wrestlemania's than I expected them to.

Also DLC plans look stacked, Big hype for the ECW pack and the WCW pack.
