I never understood why people like 3 more than this one, this just felt a lot more interesting, with a villain just as good as Vaas if you looked into it, and overall better gameplay and a more varied environment.
Very anticipated after I absolutely loved FarCry 3. Just didn't have much fun and never got very far into it.

Never really had much fun playing this, not much has changed gameplay wise from the third and although the villain is good, the story really isn’t.
Basically just Far Cry 3 with a larger weapons and vehicles sandbox. Pagan talks about Kanye so it's an automatic 5/5.
Don't play this twice, it's just not worth it. Actually you should just play something else entirely. Whatever you think you might get from Far Cry 4, the game is just not going to deliver. Unless you really want to see Nepal I guess.

To me Far Cry 4 was a huge step down from Far Cry 3.
Far Cry 3s gameplay loop worked for that game and that game only, since it worked by looping in the gameplay with the narrative, With every upgrade you got both you and Jason Brody were getting better and more intuned with the jungle, both making Jason a more blood trusty killer and making the gameplay loop more fulfilling.
You don't get that in Far Cry 4, you get a protagonist who's pretty much just a blank slate, a cast of characters that are unmemorable, and a gameplay loop that feels more like a checklist of things to do rather than feeling like you should do it.

Olha, em questão de mecânicas, aprimora muitos fatores do anterior, porém o mapa no geral não emite a mesma atmosfera atraente. Mas ainda é muito bom.

The ending is kind of anti-climactic no matter which one you choose, but you can ride elephants so it evens out.

Played with a friend but I don't care about the characters especially the one we play. I can shoot a gun while driving tho so thats cool (My 13 year old brain when I watched the trailer)

Big disappointment imo. Had high hopes after 3 but this one just falls flat. Campaign simply wasn't engaging enough for me and the game as a whole doesn't offer much. Most overrated in the series thats for sure
I liked it. its more far cry. i like the shooting and the fact that you can run around with a grenade launcher as a sidearm. Story is kind of dumb like far cry 3 but its better told so it doesn't come off as poorly. Kind of hated the drug sequences but whatever its optional. Overall had a good time with it.

When writing reviews, I usually try and at least finish the game, so that I have a full understanding of how a game works. But with Far Cry 4, I had zero inclination to continue past the 4-5 hour mark, as I was so bored by everything (barring the views and the animals), that I just couldn't force myself to go further. But alas, I am a huge fan of Far Cry 3, and Far Cry 5 was super dissapointing, so, after watching hours of gameplay footage of this game, I feel confindent in saying this:
Far Cry 4 is a near-perfect example of how souless, but still technically good and fun Ubi games can be. It's world is empty and hard to be immersed in, but driving around and occasionally burning down tigers and swats of enemies is fun. The shooting feels ok, and gliding feels fantastic. The story is bland as hell, but functional and not offensive at the very least. You can hear how little I care even about the positives here, and that's because nothing in this game was made with a desire to make a game that challenges you in any way whatsoever.
"The game is a challenge", and when all you do is mindlessly mow down braindead goons, watch talking heads deliver boring dialog in the most fake way possible, and fail to feel any way about the cool-looking villian...it's not that you're not challenged, it's that you have zero meaningfull decisions to make and zero stuff to care about. What guns you bring in, what approach you take in tackling your objectives, what fraction does what, - it's all meaningless. And it's not just nostalgia talking: Far Cry 3 did everything this game does better and with less mechanics and a smaller world. I don't think that a bigger map or the ability to fly in a little copter were added in order to make Far Cry 4 a better game, but to market it the way all AAA blockbusters are marketed today: more, bigger, prettier. And I don't want to appear like a boomer that hates modern gaming, but this very game is, again, a prime example of souless open-worlders that flooded the market in the 8th generation

Spaßiger Shooter mit schicker Grafik. Das erste und einzige Far Cry, welches ich gespielt habe, seit es die immer gleiche Far Cry Formel gibt.
Von daher war für mich alles recht frisch und ich hatte auch durchgehend Spaß. Es gibt ein paar echt abgefahrene Missionen und Gunplay ist insgesamt zufriedenstellend, aber auch nichts besonderes.
Story und Bösewicht sind recht vergessenswert.

O jogo basicamente melhora a gameplay, caça, crafting e região em relação ao jogo anterior. Mas é bem medíocre, então meh.
