Type of game you played at age 10 when your friends came over. Godzilla fighter puts raw fun before technical depth, and the world is better for it.

Watching my hometown get destroyed by kaiju and UFOs is frankly amazing.

IDK much about Godzilla but this is a lot of chaos with friends.

Seeing the Toonami review for this is one of my earliest memories and this glorious game feeds into everything my middle school boy brain ever wanted. Mass destruction, lasers, and every monster. Pure vulgar gaming perfection.

A lot of fun. Honestly the best game in the Pipeworks Trilogy.

Also the Xbox version lets you have custom music.

It's Smash Bros, but with Godzilla and his enemies. Maybe it hasn't aged as well as other games from my childhood, but I loved playing this back in the day.

So it's no secret to anyone that knows me that I am a HUGE kaiju fan, I adore the Godzilla series especially and this game is a pretty solid fighting game for the franchise. The controls are solid and the moves are alot of fun to smack people around with, but it does have a pretty short story mode and small roster, it's a good game but not a great one.

This is the reason I know most of the Godzilla monsters.

Fucked around with this for a little while today. Definitely a game that would have been great if I had rented it a couple times from Family Video when I was 10.

Godzilla in fact does not "Destroy All Monsters" as they reappear in later games

I can't review this game honestly, because I am looking back with rose colored glasses, but I feel like I want to say that a Godzilla fighting game pretty much is self-explanatory.

I am rating this from the mind of me at about 10 years old. This game was so much fun and honestly holds up as dumb fun to this day. Is it a complex fighter with a lot of replayability? Not especially, but 10 year old me just wanted to punch things as Godzilla, same as current aged me.

Incredibly slow and clunky with a cheating AI that can see items that are off-screen. On top of it multiplayer is lame unless you delve countless hours into singleplayer or enter a code each time. It gets the characters and sounds good but the gameplay...not really.

I was prepared for this game when I showed up to my first Melee tournament. Basically the classic SNK fighter King of the Monsters but with Godzilla characters and actually good.

This game is probably pretty bad but I had a lot of fun playing it as a kid. Sometimes I'd be tired of playing Melee (Smash) so I'd play this Melee instead.
