The story is so video-gamey it's ridiculous. There's no through-line, it's just "do this thing. Alright, now something has happened as a result so do this other thing." I didn't complete the game, but I played a little over half the game and there was no arc. Also, the voice acting was so monotone. The gameplay was competent, but whereas other people like the variety, to me it was just a whole bunch of different types of gameplay that were all merely competent. At least in Bioshock Infinite I could kind of zone out to the same gameplay for a while and it was sort of relaxing. Titanfall 2 really wants your attention and, in my opinion, it does not deserve it. I do not recommend Titanfall 2 to people who like story in video games and who have no particular affinity towards first-person shooters (play Tomb Raider instead!)
The most refreshing shooting game I played in a while, which surprises me that it died so quickly.
Its online is really fun and executes the mechanics of equipable and consumable sets really well. all the titans, tacticals and weapons feel good and balanced , each with their own purpose and viable use.
The single player mode is decent, on the one hand presenting interesting and challenging design and puzzles as well as individual combat areas , although has a very bad and boring plot, which is a let down, but not a major flaw that prevents it from simply being a challenge.

Short but sweet, Titanfall 2's story is just interesting enough to keep you engaged through it's massively more thrilling sandbox and mission design.
The multiplayer is beyond addictive with it's latest Steam release, and I found myself spending hours into the game's opening time trial mode attempting to master the movement.

Titanfall 2 is THE best multiplayer shooter in recent years, hell, the movement ALONE in this game sets it above and beyond others in its genre. I won't say much about it bc I highly recommend experiencing it yourself, but despite the singleplayer campaign being a highly advertised part of Titanfall 2, just know the multiplayer is the main attraction here. Though the single player campaign is great (I played it all in one sitting), it mostly serves as a tutorial to get you acquainted with the weapons and skills used in the multiplayer. Combine this with a lack of real replay-ability and the campaign just seems a bit dull compared to the multiplayer. However, despite all this I still highly recommend Titanfall 2 to anyone interested in a new first-person shooter experience.
One of the best shooters I've ever played. If you didn't play it, you are missing out. Great, smooth as butter controls and mechanics, satisfying combat, an actual good story. With all of that, you just want to replay it over and over, on various difficulties, use certain weapons, and play multiplayer, lots of it. Play it right now!
