i spent like 250 hours playing this game

There's a lot more to this game that meets the eye. It can feel like you've run out of stuff to do when you get everything on the island, but then you can spend time improving your mii's apartments and hooking them up. This isn't a game you can play forever, but the writing is really good, and miis are inherently funny, so it's still entertaining. Also Nintendo promised same sex couples with the next one.

This was fun for a week. I would really like a sequel on the switch though

not much of a game, but as a goofy and silly sim game i think it hits the mark just fine. could absolutely turn into a whole series, especially if they combined this style of game with miitopia and streetpass mii plaza type games

A very fun, charming, and deep simulator where you basically just fuck around with Miis, sort of allowing you to add anyone! I had a lot of fun with this game and played it quite a bit, its certainly worth some casual time

Please for the love of god give this a Switch sequel

for some reason i have put well over 300 hours into a game where the greatest appeal is making the joker and guy fieri fight over who gets to date princess zelda. oh wait THATS THE REASON

It's a game that gets repetitive quite fast, sure, but for what it's worth? This game is an absolute sleeper hit, and very fun to just kind of watch develop and collect all of the things. It's a simple game, but it's simplicity is what makes it shine.

Every day I try my best to forget the fact that I haven’t spoken to any of my miis in over a year. Some of them have families and children. ONE TIME I RESTARTED WITHOUT SAVING JUST TO GET RID OF A CHILD. I EFFECTIVELY MURDERED A CHILD IN TOMODACHI LIFE AND I WILL BE HAUNTED BY THEIR SPIRIRT FOR ETERNITY

now that i think about it its kinda weird I put all my friends into this without telling them. it was annoying when people wouldn't get together like how I wanted them to. and how dare they tell me I only have 17% compatibility with my middle school crush >:(

I remember I made my crush into a Mii and then put her in this game and then my friend told her about it. I have never had a more harrowing moment of self-reflection.
