I was thinking that chapters 1&2, although very interesting and complex, were not as mind blowing as the first Higurashi chapters, but this one is an absolute ride. The story is taking off and I cant even imagine what's to come
63 hours in and im not even halfway through, oh boy... Please Ryukishi07 keep lying to me for 100+ hours straight, you are the best at it

cried my eyes out in the finale just to then be directly ridiculed by beatrice I hate this game
Very solidly paced chapter imo. This one was very fun and kind of hilarious. I feel like this one reveals enough for the mystery to still be far out of reach but getting closer is super satisfying. I guess I don't really like EVA-Beatrice very much. The ending was great though.

Mystery is top notch, the new characters blow it out of the park, and even though solving the murder here is on the simpler side, it feels great to crack it.

Se aleja bastante de la estructura que han seguido los dos episodios anteriores, cosa que veo muy positiva. Ahora bien, mantiene los mismos problemas de prosa: el estilo de Ryukishi07 es tautológico a más no poder y muchos pasajes que admiten más de una lectura ven su subtexto dañado de manera retroactiva por culpa de explicaciones innecesarias. También está el tema de los cambios constantes entre el narrador omnisciente y uno homodiegético que ocurren sin avisar —además de que los suelo ver injustificados porque suelen ser, nuevamente, excusas para reformular lo ya narrado sin aportar nada sustancial— o el abuso de los puntos suspensivos.
Ojo, al igual que los anteriores, este episodio tiene momentos chulísimos que no te ves venir y la caracterización de los personajes está estupenda. Todo lo que lo acompaña al texto (al menos con el parche de PS3) me ha gustado, sobre todo la banda sonora.
En fin, Umineko está bien guapo, pero creo que con un editor competente no solo sería un placer leer qué está escrito, sino también cómo lo está.
