This season was the first great one in a VERY long while. The last two chapters have been not the greatest due to their medicore seasons and short lengths as chapters. This season was truly great, the train was a cool new format of transportation and when mixed with the fun map made for a great traversal system. The guns in this season were also great as well as the bosses, there was also not a bad skin in the battle pass which was good and to top it all off snake and raiden are now in the game.
My favorite part was the Guitar Hero mode and I'm not even fucking joking rn. That and all the ninja turtle stuff.
A very slow and very long season. The theme was just boring, updates were few and far between. The meta was terrible along with a lot of lackluster weapons and items.
And FUCK the locker UI change I've never seen a shittier UI downgrade in my life. Don't even get me started on whatever the shit was going on with the item shops.

Got to Level 178
The last season I got super into for this game was Chapter 3 Season 1, which was from late 2021 to early 2022, so it's been a little bit since I've been on the Fortnite grind. The only reason I got the battle pass was to finally get Peter Griffin after years of leaks and rumors saying he would be added to the game. As for my thoughts on the season itself, well it's become obvious that Epic Games wants Fortnite to be less of a game and more of an "experience," a general product to have all of your entertainment needs in one. You could see that a lot with this season with the new modes added, as they are quite literally called experiences, and also that whole Disney collab thing. The actual season was pretty fun though. The map was interesting, I liked the bosses, and the ability to modify your weapons, which I initially thought was stupid, grew on me a lot. I also liked the battle pass, all the skins were pretty cool looking, and finally getting Peter Griffin and also Solid Snake was awesome. It's just that when you grind this game as much as I did, it begins to just get boring, especially by the end of the season. All the new modes are kinda whatever too. The physics in Rocket Racing can be absolutely abhorrent sometimes, LEGO Fortnite was honestly boring and annoying to play, and Fortnite Festival was fun, but got old really quickly. I enjoyed this season, but I definitely will not look back at it as fondly as I do for other seasons I grinded.
7 / 10.

I really liked it at first but in the last week I completely changed my mind, I don't really know what it was. probably the lack of updates didn't keep me hooked, and the map is pretty boring looking, though it might be the best when it comes to gameplay. Not a lot to say, it wasn't bad, just didn't stick with me
Hadn't really been into Fortnite in a long while but this season was really great. Rocket Racing is a really fun arcadey racing mode (with some questionable map designs at higher ranks) and Fortnite Festival is the closest i'll ever get to a proper revival of Rock Band and I really appreciate it. Thank god somebody finally gave Harmonix another win. As far as the actual BR mode goes I thought this season played really great. Battlepass had tons of cool stuff in it. Loved the modifying weapons as a gimmick. I do think the season dragged on a lot though and didn't really have any exciting map changes throughout.
You know, even if people say it was mid or less fun than the previous seasons, I had a lot of fun this chapter. It's the one I played the most so far, I had a lot of good runs with friends and randos, I rocked the music on the Festival stage, I am in love with the Lego mode (but I'm biased I love Lego all the time), and like Ryan Gosling says in that one movie, "I drive."
The onyl game that lets you car manslaughter a bunch of people, befriend a rando that happened to jump in your car and spare you this time, and win the game as Peter Griffin against Snake with a grapple hook.

I really enjoyed it at first but it definitely got boring after a while. The shops sucked ass for a good month, but it also gave me Summitseeker Evie 🥹
I enjoy the map and the medallions are really cool. The story was cute, but I wish it got more focus outside of quests in the last 2 weeks. Overall a fun season, but definitely could’ve used more variety

I love the new modes added. Had so much multiplayer fun with Lego, Racing, and Festival. This game and season in particular genuinely helped me connect better with my boyfriend's family which is nice. New skin crossovers like Metal Gear were fantastic. The new map felt a bit too basic though. A lot of the POIs don't stick out enough from each other. It was carried by thinks like the ever moving train and floating island but the train takes way too long to circle around so sometimes players don't even see it. I'm glad it was super easy to level up in this season though because I got to 250 which I had never done before. I barely ever got above 215 before after grinding hard but I don't even think i really grinded this time.
Wasn't a horrible season after coming off the OG season tbh. Just like most seasons, I don't really enjoy them all that much at first and then I slowly start to enjoy them afterwards and this season was obviously one of those. I wasn't a fan of the other three modes added and I didn't play them as much as I thought I would have. Solid season, but I still miss the OG season :((
unfortunately, an underwhelming start to a new chapter. the new Island is very pretty and the major POI are well designed battle zones in my Zero Build experience. i wish the train was cooler, as by the 3rd time you land on it, you realize that it's not worth starting with it, maybe jump on if it happens to pass u by, and it's going in a safe direction. hopefully they find some ways to make it cooler in later seasons this chapter.
the new weapon modding is arguably arbitrary, as most weapons have one good load out, that you just have to be lucky enough to find or just always purchase at the mod bench. I'll miss the Balistic Sheild, as I'm sure it'll stay vaulted. They somehow designed a weapon that felt perfectly balanced and completely OP with it.
The Battle Pass was okay. Love the designs of Hope, Oscar, Jonesy, and Valaria. The rest were pretty good too. The inclusion of both Solid Snake and Peter Griffin is hilarious, but I'll never use Griffin and I'll likely use the Item Shop's Raiden more than Snake.
Now, I'm a sucker for Fornite Lore, and was thoroughly disappointed by this season's story. "Jonesy joins new good guys to rescue Peely from new bad guys" is like 90% of it. the other 10% was that Srgt. Winter showed up again, and the TMNT showed up to help the new Good Guys.
all in all, as almost always, I had a good time in this season of zero build battle royale. now my thoughts on Fortnite Festival, Rocket Racing, and LEGO Fortnite are much more mixed, but I'll get to those later on their own pages.

Coming off the back of the OG season which was Fortnite's biggest player peak ever, this season in my opinion really delivers. I love the addition of weapon modifications, they make the smaller loot pool feel very different each game. New map took a bit of getting used to for me but in the end I liked the locations enough.
Battlepass was pretty good, Peter Griffin being in it feels like a fucking fever dream. I think that Fortnite is moving away from doing an overall storyline which at this time in the games lifespan might be the best move. The addition of the other games was novel at first but I haven't touched any of them in months. Quick ranking below:
1. Fortnite Festival - (Im a big guitar hero fan so fav by default)
2. Lego Fortnite - (Really cool concept but not enough content)
3. Rocket Racing - (From what I played it was the same thing over and over again)
I really enjoyed this season, eager to see where Fortnite goes from here

Pretty good season. The new map was neat but some of the new locations are a bit uninteresting and forgettable. The new weapon modding system is really cool but I wish the mod benches were more common around the map. The battlepass was really strong, I didn't really dislike any of the skins. Collabs were really good as well, especially the TMNT event and mini-pass. The new gamemodes added are fun and can be a nice break from the main BR mode. Overall, a fun season and a good start to the new chapter.
