Woeful story and acting. Gameplay not great either. The sequel looks like it's improved though...

Excellent writing elevates this RPG considerably.
Ultimately dropped for the simple fact that combat becomes basically impossible to read.
Plus, the story kinda goes all over the place and the characters kinda fail to keep my interest up.

After not having played for a couple of weeks I have no desire to back. I did enjoy my time with it, though. Combat, world building, characters, etc were all good but I also think it lacks in all those departments for such a long game. Reminds me I should abandon more games. Life is too short.
I was very surprised with the score this game has in backloggd (~3.6 at time of writing). This is for sure one of the best CRPGs out there. It has deep lore that pulls you in and makes you want to read more about it. Interesting characters with distinct backstories and amazing music. Playing this games feels like entering another world.
