My first attempt at one of the older games as someone who started with Awakening. A really fun time, not the best story but does any FE game have the best story (no). I played the normal difficulty as it’s the only one available, I think some of the harder modes would be fun to try as the later levels were kind of curbstomps, until that last level were I lost 3 party members.
A good time, and I’m excited to play Binding Blade soon

Gets a bad rap among more hardcore players for being a slow introductory title, but Eliwood Normal was plenty difficult for me back before I'd done my requisite wiki-diving or played anything else in the genre. Not every Alexander O. Smith localization is a winner, but his strengths really come through in this one and elevate an otherwise mediocre JRPG script to something memorable.
