its on par with the first mario galaxy. theyre both genuinely so good. nintendo how did you do it.

its just more galaxy but without what made galaxy so different from other mario games (aside from th gameplay ) . almost no story and th homeworld is so much less fun to explore with less to do . still great bc at its core galaxy 1 is a super well designed fun game n so is this one .
is mario galaxy 2 any different on the wii u? no. this playthrough was NOT 100%.

wahoo. not as good as 1 because the levels kind of feel more like obstacles courses rather than actual planets where people live and things happen. still awesome though with pretty much everything good and amazing except again for the freaking movement. wahoo!
This game took an already perfect game and made it... even more perfect? This game is brilliant, no other words to describe it.

Don't let the discourse on whether this game innovated enough compared to the first game distract you from the fact that it doesn't improve on anything from Galaxy 1 and is essentially glorified dlc. Not a bad game by any means, don't get me wrong, not a dull moment and all that but it did start the era of boring, linear, blend together era of mario games that hit a boiling point with 3d world and new soup U. Worth a playthrough nonetheless, unless you're one of those people that are crazy enough to 100% any game; only the most dedicated do that willingly and 100%ing this game is considered an abstract form of torture in foreign countries. Forcing prisoners of war to get all the prankster comets could make anyone snitch on where Osama Bin Laden was hiding, hell if it was me i'd rather get waterboarded.
