Its alright. Played it with like 3 friends so it naturally was fun but id imagine that in singleplayer it would be less fun. The characters have a couple of moves. The levels are fine but nothing too memorable. Pixelart is cool though.
If you like arcade-styled games or TMNT in general, this is the game for you. While people complain about how short it is, if it was any longer, it would get boring clicking the same three buttons over and over. The boss fights is where the game really shines. All 18 of them are unique. Each episode is also unique to an extent. The game just has overall fun gameplay, and doesn't overstay it's welcome.

Casey Jones is a welcome unlockable addition to the six character base roster, but doesn't change the experience significantly. There are no extra tweaks to the main modes with a Jones playthrough, and his gameplay is really just more of the same. It's the eighties cartoon version of Casey Jones, which is amusing, but the voice acting doesn't capture his deranged Eastwood-esque faux pas. Still, the basic formula of TMNT Shredder's Revenge is solid, and it was nice to have a second playthrough with a favourite character. A great option to have in multiplayer.

Fun little TMNT throwback. A light snack before bed.
Really fun beat'em up. I don't feel like it does anything crazy but you don't need to reinvent the wheel with every game. A little bit on the simpler side but still feels engaging enough. I feel like it drags a bit near the end but I think it helps give the game a good length. The graphics are great as well. All around a solid package. I'm not the biggest TMNT head but I still enjoyed this game for what it is.

I'm not a fan of the TMNT, but this was a blast. Good visuals and music. On the shorter side and basic combat, however you can't go wrong with this one when looking for a fun multiplayer beat em up.

This wasn't worth it at all. Maybe it's worth it if you play alone but doing this with your friends makes this game so easy to fly through it's crazy. Also the fact that it is 30 bucks is ridiculous it should be $10-15 dollars is what I see its worth at.
i don't actually own this game but me and my buddies played this game at one of their houses and it was fun and we laughed and smiled and clapped our hands. i miss them.
Aun no lo termino, pero es un excelente beat em all, si eres fan de las tortugas no dudes en jugar este.
Un agradable viaje a las arcade de antaño. Su pulido visual en el pixel art, animaciones y entornos es magnífico. Aun así, resulta demasiado limitado en mecánicas y diseño de jefes finales para un beat 'em up moderno.

This was fun. Better in co-op. Definitely a nice throwback to the arcade game and Turtles in Time. Awesome to play as Splinter and other characters.

Most of your favourites are back, with seven playable characters including Splinter, April O'Neil, and an unlockable Casey Jones. A worthy entry and a good time that could've used a little extra on the toppings.

Haven't played any of the ninja turtles games before this one but this was an amazing introduction with so much love put into it and is a blast to play through multiple times!
mid af, no combos, no replaybility, the musics and art are good
while technically not my first TMNT game, it's definitely the one i finished! and man what a game! the pixel art is beautiful! the gameplay is fun! the character designs are great! and the soundtrack is really awesome! highly recommend!

It's an unremarkable beat 'em up. Having a life system in a 2022 game is really lame. I would have much rather had difficult segments with checkpoints like in any other modern release. It's especially annoying during the last few levels. Inb4 skill issue for not wanting to repeat 15 minutes of gameplay every time I die like it's 1985.
