Given its age I was expecting it to feel slow and unsatisfying but I was pleasantly surprised to find myself enjoying the simplicity of this. the trippy visuals really add flair to the cabinet

Played as part of Atari 50.

Crazy ass game for 1983, being probably one of the first twin stick shooters ever, but the hardware limitations of the time really overpower the gameplay with the noticeably limited firing angles. It's still definitely one of the better games in this collection so far, but it's not much to write home about outside of the context of its release given just how much twin-stick shooters have been iterated on and improved in the years since.

Really keeps you on your toes, even if it goes a bit too far with that. Fucking hate that bomb bug.

It may be yet another shooter, but it is a twin-stick shooter from 1982, and you play as a spider that is massacring a whole civilization of insects for seemingly no reason whatsoever. Instant classic.

Game #200

The early stages of the twin stick shooter. Feels like Robotron with a spider.

I'm a bit biased, because I love hypnotic color vector graphics and twin-stick shooters. Black Widow has both, and it's really fun to play.

What's a grubsteak, precious??

This is NUTS, one of the most fast-paced early 80s arcade titles I've ever played! Absolutely bonkers!! Your spider character shoots out a multicolored string of Linux commands in this twin-stick shooter set on a spider web. It kind of owns a little bit???
