Yeah I remember this game, I remember the dialogue never stopping between my failed attempts to accomplish any of my goals too. Why do racing games always have to have people talking in them?

I feel like this is objectively the best dirt, its pretty much the same as 2 but i played this one after so i guess nostalgia makes me prefer 2. exploring battersea alone and with friends is pretty funny but i just dont like gymkhana that much. its also a but more dificult on the hardest difficulty.

It isn't horrible but it is very much a game that goes for style over substance. The graphics are filled to the brim with 2010 era vasoline screen and lens flares with an aesthetic that goes for more "wow factor" than realism. The physics are a bit too easy for me and the fact that within the first few hours the game gives you 30 minutes of lectures I found myself just wanting to go play DiRT Rally over and over again. It still has heart.

I honestly prefer this game to Dirt 2, but that may be purely due to the fact I played this game more as a kid. Either way, fantastic presentation, music, and physics again, alongside a killer car list and location selection. RIP Codemasters.

After excellent Dirt 2 they decided to go all-in on gymkhana and drifting and everything cool, while rally racing was left on the background. Dirt 3 has a deep identity crisis as it tries hard sell european rally racing for USA-audience, without having much success.
