I keep giving this a try but it leads me nowhere. Nevertheless I take this game a really good one. One of the hardest platinums so hopefully one day I'll take it into my hands.

Good platformer, not one I am super into, but it's well done (heh), and has good music.

People make this game sound harder than it actually is
Really good soundtrack

It's cool but not my type of plataformer.

really satisfying when u beat it because of how hard it is. really great 2D platformer

8/10

got stuck on a few levels, but really good tho

Eu curti. Não é nada demais, mas eu curti.

Finally got around to beating this one! Fantastic game all-around, tight platforming is a joy to go through, but half a star off for all the rage moments and thrown controllers 😂

Perfect game for anyone who lacks joy in life

Probably the best platformer ever made

You will hit a point where you get mad. Go beyond that. The little meat man falling on a spike does not create the anger, you create the anger. This game is a meditative tool.

It's actually kind of crazy how well this game holds up today. Every part of this game has so much polish and the soundtrack by Danny B. just brings it all together into one really fun package. All the choices and bonus content make it really stand out today.
I also love how the alternative characters actually unlock levels and make progress. I remember playing as a kid and using Tim to get past the creatures in the rapture when I was stuck and it felt a lot more interesting than using assist mode to get past a place I was stuck in when playing celeste. (no hate to celeste)

Maybe my favourite platformer. A soundtrack the slaps hard too.

The controls feel SO bad it's unbelievable.

An excersice in frustration.

Run and Jump game, speedy platformer. It's a bit frustrating becauese of the physics and the overall movement of the character which is very floaty and slippery.

Once you get the hang of it, it's still hard.

With 106% completion, I can safely say Super Meat Boy is a phenomenal platformer packed to the brim with content (way more than I expected going in) - there's over a dozen unlockable characters, 7 chapters which each have challenge versions for all the levels in them, 100 bandage collectibles, a custom level editor and player, and 6 bonus levels in the game. However, the more side-content you indulge in, the more painful the game gets - while I made it through about 99% of the content just fine, that remaining 1% consisted of the most frustrating levels and bandages in the game. Pin-point precision, the most perfect timing, and probably watching a youtube video to find cheap spots in survival levels to cheese the AI or projectile patterns start becoming necessary in these levels. Some people like that stuff, and I do to (up to a certain point), but I just felt like some of them were due to poor level design rather than a skill issue on my part (although who knows).

an classic and still holds up, incredibly tight controls and movement, satisfying difficulty and great presentation.

some of the later worlds can be a bit too much in terms of difficulty (especially chapter 4 and 5) but overall it was an enjoyable ride, the new soundtrack by Ridiculon is definitely not as memorable compared to Danny B's music but it's not that bad.

Nowhere near as hard as they say. I remember a friend in 3rd grade would talk to me all the time about this game and how unbeatable it was.

I sucked so bad I quit. I don't feel like I can give an honest rating other and can only say it pissed me right the hecc off.

Just all around very well designed platformer

fun but it got too hard for widdle ow meee

Unlocking the IWBTG Kid was probably harder than anything in IWBTG but he was an amazing Character. Also I appriciate the other Guest Charas from other Indie Games.

Overall this is a good rage game but feels a bit samey after a few worlds. In IWBTG you had an unique an creative trap in almost every room which is something I feel doesn't get enough appriciation in gamedesign. Here it is just like 3 Gimmicks per World stretched out to 20 Levels and people are fine with it... but well so am I because this game is still alot of fun
