Holy shit this was so much fun, like I was playing aria of sorrow or sotn again for the first time. But also strangely enough, it finally crystallized why I prefer Metroid to Castlevania, the grinding can sometimes be a bit too much, like getting specific souls in aria or getting the crissaegrim in sotn. And the pace isn't as brisk as in Metroid. This game has quite a bit of grinding to make weapons, food, materials, and upgrade shards. If you really enjoy grinding, this is for you. But there's just so much to do, both as a compliment and a critique. It's a really fun game, and some of the weapons are worth the grind, with new game plus available I'll have a field day.
Aside from the one piece games, so far this is probably my favorite musou game. At first the combat seemed different, not giving with it, but once I realized I could chain most actions together to keep a combo going (hit counter worth a damn, unlike OPPW4). Aside from the fact that characters aren't that fun to play when low level, something that's only in the first battle, this is just so much fun. Gotta learn Japanese to play the rest of the games tho
It's a very interesting game, but even after 19 hours, I still haven't seen half of what it offers. It's deceptively simple, down the the visuals and price, you'd think it's a shorter mv like Gato roboto, but man you couldn't be more wrong..it's no hollow knight, but there's definitely a lot to sink your teeth in
Ok the combat is actually pretty good, it's fast, fluid and overall it's fun to mow down hundreds of enemies. But there are a few kinks in it, not to mention content wise it isn't as plentiful or strong as 3, and it has a bit more filler in the roster. I overall really like it and think it's worth playing, but it's inferior to 3 imo

The second best game ever made, again, with shinier graphics. I mean no joke, this is probably the best looking switch game. And I already considered dread to be that but for real this time. The control options are good for accessibility, even if playing dual stick feels wrong, gyro is great but goes off center a lot and isn't ideal with a regular controller, hybrid would be ideal but they change the visor placement, so I went just classic. With a couple of changes and additions and at 40 bucks, I think it's a must buy, alongside dread. I am now crowning this the best switch game because it's prime, and now with paper Mario on the way, 3 of my 5 favorite games are on switch. Where the fuck is star successor and symphony of the night
