Better story than Skyrim.

It's alright

I used to be so scared of this game as a kid, yet it was still one of my favourites.
Amazing story, amazing characters, absolutely breathtaking soundtrack and a world that seems so alien, you'll feel like you stepped into another dimension.

The Dragon Age series is one of my absolute favourites out there, so it's painful to say that this game is an absolute downgrade in every regard. While I did enjoy the story and some of the character redesigns, I generally felt like they did not recapture the feel of the original. I HATED what they did to the elves, making them look absolutely ugly, and the simple fact that you can't choose your race anymore made it so much more bland in my opinion.
Played it through once, never again.

Amazing game with amazing graphics and great characters. Geralt is both charming and dry, his character is done so well, even if I wouldn't like RPGs, I'd play this game just for him.
The story is intriguing and keeps you on your toes while the combat system is both challenging and rewarding. It's one of the best games ever made.

This is one of the first "proper" video games I've ever played and ever since then, it has occupied a very special place in my heart. Yeah, the faces look goofy and the physics are all over the place, the graphics might not shine as they used to, but when it comes to my favourite game of all time, it would be this one.
