(beat game 100% on normal and then on julius mode)
this game goes hard as fuck but i do wish it was a bit quicker to travel around the castle once you reach the late game where you're just checking off the final rooms you need to access for 100% (also souls should be easier to get like holy shit do i really need to kill like a billion curlies just to get a single rush form which is mandatory to access a certain area and do i really need to kill a billion chronomages when there's only ever going to be one you can kill just to get its soul?)
julius mode is also way better than richter mode because it's actually well-balanced and fun and feels very unique and as much as i love fighting game inputs i like to not destroy my hands in a sidescrolling platforming action game just so i can move good like richter
also i want to have gay sex with souma so bad
definitely a peak castlevania imo

that FMV intro is even better than hot steamy gay sex and i can finally fully control my AC without obliterating my hands and left hand guns are finally super fucking good and the music is baller as always and there's a couple cool things happening in the story i guess and like the ending is pretty cool and interesting kinda and the revolution disc is a pretty cool love letter to gen 1 but maaaaaaaaaaaaan you are so limited by energy and heat in this game it's crazy!
boost heat was a mistake. also i wish the game actually told you how long a mission would stick around before disappearing because that shit's annoying. and i wish you could just play every single mission in free mission once you beat the game. you can't. kinda stinky. this was so close to peak Armored Core and they dropped the ball harder than i drop spicy fecal matter in the toilet after a trip to a high-quality mexican restaurant. still good tho
