The setting of this game is very refreshing and is honestly one of my favorite things about it. Gave me Skies of Arcadia vibes at times. The real time combat is excellent and feels great. My wife and I 100%'d this game across 60 hours and couldn't get enough of it!
This story is great ...up through Chapter 4, that is. In the next two chapters , the story goes from a refreshing "we need to work together to get off this island" to "now let's fight a literal god and save the world." It's absolutely unecessary and sours the ending of a fantastic experience.

Aloy is such an awful main character who always feels annoyed to have to do anything. All NPCs are boards with very bad writing. All this made it hard to care about anyone or anything in the game.

Had a lot of fun with it. It felt like like watching an animated Batman movie. However the PS4 port, which I played, is not good. Lots of missing music, sound effects, and stuttering frame rate during some cutscenes. Despite this I still had a good time with it.
