Devil May Cry 5 is the greatest action game ever made. Hands down. Nothing compares.
Not even gonna talk about the gameplay it’s just peak okay it’s peak
The story… I’m not gonna talk about the story either it’s crazy spoiler heavy
The music is peak it’s like 11/10 it’s so fire like oh my God
Legendary game.

I really wanted this game when I was younger. Played the shit out of it too. Now all I see is potential, potential that they expanded upon in 2 and nearly abandoned in Legion. Let’s start.
The gameplay may very well be the best part of this game. The hacking is shallow but fun. But the real fun is in the combat. Playing this game as a cover shooter takes away all the fun. You’ve gotta get out there and get your dick wet in the blood of your enemies, John Wick style. That’s where all the good shit comes out. Watch Whitelight’s video on it to really get what I mean.
Story is ass. It’s a revenge story, but 90% of it doesn’t have anything to do with it. Shit, 2 thirds of the game is trying to get into a poorly defended apartment building.
I like the aesthetics, it’s perfectly moody and drab, which fits the tone and themes of the game perfectly.
And Ubisoft knows how to design a game world. Chicago is great to just walk around in and watch NPCs and enjoy the environment.
Anyway, games kinda mid.
