Considering the year this released it is very good. While the graphics don't hold up and the story isn't anything to write home about, getting to play as Batman and face his pantheon of villains is always a fun time and I feel that the combat has definitely held up.

While I'm not a fan of roguelite style games, I think this is done in some of the best I've played. Everything is polished like the main game, and this story is effective in bringing even more weight to Kratos' story. The humor is just like the main game as well with not only Mimir but also Helios coming in from the original game series. My only thing I guess is that compared to the absolute masterpiece that the main game is, I wasn't able to build up as much emotional investment in the dlc as I was into the main game.

Extremely polished with a pretty good story for a superhero like game. The combat and gameplay is some of the best gaming in in my opinion and that carries the game and there are new abilities and combat mechanics that are introduced throughout. Though this game struggles to stand alone because of the lack of changes from the first title. A lot of the core that makes the first game is still here and imo if there was a better story it could have excused the lack of that. Personally I don't find Venom a convincing villain, especially compared to Kraven, and I think that's where this game fails the most. That and I wish they had focused a little more on the personal journeys of Miles and Peter. Overall is definitely a worthy follow up to the original.
