Rare case when expansion is better than original game

My guilty pleasure. One of the "so bad it's good" games.

Made me hate open world games for a while

The game is amazing, but its pacing is completely disrupted by a TV show inserted between chapters. Thankfully it's not 100% need to have a full picture for the story.

Kakarot feels like a really good fan game, pretty cheap and with a lot of cut corners, but still full of passion for the franchise. Leagues better than most of the anime/manga games we've been getting in the last few years. Definitely not the best introduction to the franchise, but still a good game for all fans.

gameplay leaves a lot to be desired, but story and characters kept me till the end, one of the best superhero games when it comes to the story

the game is extreme junk, still cried during credits

Amazing game, probably one of the best I played in a while, it has some junky moments with climbing, but it's still incredibly charming and breathtaking.

The need to battle 3 identical bosses like 40 times definitely made me push through the game at times, but exploration was really nice and it's definitely one of the more comfortable Metroidvania games with how good backtracking is made thanks to teleportation stations.
