A guy from my local FGC still owes me $20 from a money match of this that he quit after one round.

The most popular characters in this game are the ones I most want to have a cartoon anvil be dropped on.

I had to go to an outdoor wedding once and instead of interacting with anyone I just played this under a tree. Thank god for GBA SP backlighting.

While I really enjoy HM2 for its variety, the first game managed to make it feel exceptionally special when you got to change characters, since it was for a short time and the way you played and executed your plans was so radically different than controlling Jacket.

I used to have a demo version of this on my old Windows Vista CRT and my dad (who utterly despises playing almost any form of video game that isn't arcade-style) used to play it with me a ton. It's probably a terrible game but the memory is fond.

One of those games you have to really appreciate contextually, rather than entirely in a vacuum. You won't get the full understanding without getting how influential Portal was on internet culture, game development, stories in puzzle games, and the increased effort put into puzzle games for the foreseeable future.

It's a great game but whoever added the 10000 kills achievement needs to be dropped from the studio.
