Yeah, those caves and how cruel they are with their traps are pretty damn annoying, and that goddamn weight for 100% completion. I did replay this game to 100% completion twice, and I MAY come back to do that, but right now, I'm just happy to be done with the main game.

Got all the ship parts, and after I saw just how these Pikmin control with the AI...yeah, I can see why Jon of TheRunawayGuy wasn't so into it...but still, even with that bug, it's still a great game worth checking out. Just not as good as 3.

It definitely needs a boost of content and modes, stat, if it wants to stay relevant in the long term.

It's not ungodly horrible, but damn it's still insanely rough around the edges. This is the kind of game I think a remake could greatly help out in smoothing out all the faults it has. There's a good game somewhere in these mechanics, but right now, not worth it at all.

I actually kind of hated it. I felt like the controls were just a bit too obnoxious and were begging for at least another button to use. The platforming was a pain in the ass, and the enemies were just annoying when you were just trying to finish the game. Combat was just utterly bland and tiring, and constantly having to switch beams just to hit the enemy that was only weak to that certain beam was just busywork, meaning I was pretty much running away from any enemy unless I had to fight them. The Thermal Visor was an absolute headache to use with just how ugly and how much of an eyesore it was. Backtracking just to search for the 12 Chozo Artifacts was tedious and monotonous. The Phazon Mines were terrible and irritating, especially when you have to double back to get the grapple beam, but then double back even more to get the X-Ray visors, instead of continuing to go ahead like the game taught you to do, and in fact, did by leading you to the Metroid Quarantine chambers. And the music and enemy sound effects were just ear-grating to me.

Uh, I should probably talk about some positives…It looks pretty and well-polished. The scanning feature is a nice way to let you try and figure out what happened to the world. The song used for the Omega Pirate was cool. Boost Ball was fun to use on the halfpipes. The reflection they gave Samus on her helmet was a nice touch…

Yeah, sorry; I honestly didn’t like it in the end, and now, after confirming I didn’t like the 2D Metroid games with Super and Dread, I have no desire to continue with this series.

Tester: I'm about to lose a bet and have my entire life ruined because of your terrible performance; can you please try to be a good player?

Me, not about to be guilt-tripped into obeying him since his game was so bad only bad players can get through to later levels: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_z8hvx95T8o

Sonic Frontiers should have just had Sonic play Flicky instead of Pinball.

I haven't heard of a game that had a demo outshine its final product in every way since Hello Neighbor...

Zelda fans have been awfully quiet once this game dropped, did you notice?

I didn't even like Fire Emblem all that much; didn't know why I thought I would vibe with this.

It's definitely more of an experience than a game, but damn, if it wasn't a chill time playing it.

If Aiai ran into the Switchball in his Super Monkey Ball, would that be considered gay?
